Fast and Furious Franchise Would Cause $523M in Damage
The thing about a street fight is the street always wins — and leaves whoever started the fight with a massive bill of damages.
Insurance company InsuretheGap.com (as spotted by THR), has assessed all of the damage done throughout the first seven films in the Fast and Furious franchise, and determined that the real-life cost of every car crash, car explosion, and car crashes into buildings that then explode would cost over 419.4 million pounds, or about $523.3 million USD.
The W Motors Lykan Hypersport, seen flying through the air between three buildings in Abu Dhabi during Furious 7, is the mot expensive car destroyed in the entire series, with an estimated $3.46 million USD value. 169 cars sustain some form of damage throughout the series, while 142 are absolutely destroyed. (There's a good chance The Fate of the Furious will considerably up these numbers if the scenes teased in its latest trailer are any indication.)

The Rogue Jedi Who Needs a Star Wars Spinoff
When you picture the Jedi Order, who are the first faces who come to mind? Yoda? Obi-Wan? It makes sense for the Jedi you think of immediately to be ones who embody the principles of the Order. In other words, Jedi who follow the code and regularly spout words of wisdom. But I find it's fun to color outside the lines now and again. Enter Quinlan Vos.
The Kiffar Jedi was part of the Order during the time of the Galactic Republic. He had a maverick reputation that is a little reminiscent of Qui-Gon Jinn and a little of Anakin Skywalker. We know they weren't afraid of breaking the rules or going against the Council and neither is Quinlan. On top of his tendency to follow a path outside the usual rule book, Quinlan has a sarcastic tone and devil-may-care, flippant attitude. That combination means he isn't everyone's cup of tea; he wasn't voted Most Likely to Be Stoic and Silent in his Padawan graduating class.

DayZ Designer Reveals New Space Station Sim
DayZ designer Dean Hall revealed his new game, Stationeers, at EGX Rezzed in London earlier today.
Stationeers is a construction/management sim that will let you build your own space station in single-player or online with friends. It will launch on Steam Early Access, but a price and release date have not yet been announced.
"We don't want people to turn up and think it's a first-person, hardcore shooter, 3000 player game, because that's not what it is," Hall told Eurogamer. "
a hardcore, niche game in an area I've been interested in for a decade."

Daenerys Sits on a New Throne in Game of Thrones Trailer
HBO has released a new trailer showcasing what to expect when Games of Thrones' seventh season debuts on July 16.
Warning: Major spoilers for Games of Thrones season 6 and minor spoilers for the upcoming season 7 to follow.
The trailer shows what's become the three main characters of HBO's fantasy drama walking through the empty halls of castles and keeps, before ascending their respective thrones or seats of authority.
What's interesting is that while we know Jon Snow is in Winterfell, and takes his place at the head of the table in the great hall, and Cersei, the newly crowned queen of the Seven Kingdoms takes her place on the Iron Throne in the Red Keep at King's Landing, we see a new location for Daenerys Targaryen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, and Khaleesi of the Great Green Sea.
