FFXV’s Power Rangers Suits Have to Be Redesigned

Square Enix has announced it is delaying Final Fantasy XV's recently revealed Power Rangers-style costumes.

Called Magitek Exosuits, these new free costumes were originally supposed to be released on February 21. As noted by Kotaku, after getting plenty of feedback that these suits look nearly identical to what the Power Rangers wear, Square Enix realized it needs to redesign them.

Square Enix was contacted by those who own the Power Rangers IP, and so the company "spent the day looking into various things, and what we’ve decided is to redo the design,” as explained in the most recent Active Time Report.

Since romance options will vary depending on your character, it's unclear whether Peebee will be a romance option for both Scott and Sara Ryder.

In the video, Lakin gives further insight into her Asari character, calling Peebee impulsive, quirky, and goofy.

On the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered, Obsidian CEO Fergus Urquhart said that after having worked with Snowblind Studios on the dungeon-crawling action-RPG Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and then developing the sequel internally, the studio was interested in making a similar style game set in the Star Wars universe.

"There hadn't been a game like that, like an action, Star Wars action-RPG," Urquhart said. As such, Obsidian's first pitch to LucasArts was: "What about using the Dark Alliance engine and making a Star Wars action-RPG?"

After being asked whether he enjoyed Dark Souls by Glixel, Franck said: "Yeah, I actually have done some work with FromSoftware so... I'm, like, writing stuff for them, so I'm pretty familiar with the Dark Souls franchise."

The PlayStation 4 is getting external hard drive support in the next system update.

Death Stranding Will Feature Humor, “Is Not a Horror Game”

Hideo Kojima has discussed the upcoming Death Stranding, saying it will include the humor of his previous games and, contrary to its darkly surreal trailers so far, will not be a horror game.

Speaking to Glixel, Kojima explained that "I don’t have a dark mindset in particular. Death Stranding is not a horror game. I just wanted to make something that looks very unique, something you haven’t seen before, something with a more artistic slant to it. I’m not pursuing a dark aspect to the game."

It's still not fully clear how much of Kojima's Konami-era work will carry over into Death Stranding, but one prominent aspect seems to be making the jump:
