Simpsons Predicted Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Performance

An episode from The Simpsons that aired back on 2012 predicted that Lady Gaga would perform at the Super Bowl and even got some aspects of her performance correct.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the music icon is shown flying through the air during the episode titled "Lisa Goes Gaga," which is strikingly similar to how, during her performance at the Super Bowl 51 halftime show, Lady Gaga used a harness to float into the stadium.

A fan pointed out the similarity in a post on Twitter, which was retweeted by the official Simpsons account.

Nintendo Switch Hardware First Impressions

The Nintendo Switch launches on March 3 and only a handful of IGN staff have actually touched it! How Successful Is Split Compared to M. Night Shyamalan’s Other Movies?

M. Night Shyamalan's Split was the top earning film at the box office for a third weekend in a row and is just shy of hitting the $100 million mark domestically. So how is the James McAvoy-starring thriller faring in comparison to the rest of the director's films?

Split, after the movie's third weekend atop the box office, currently stands at an estimated $98.7 million domestically and $142.7 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo, making it Shyamalan's fifth most successful film in the U.S. and eighth highest-grossing movie around the world (both results are not adjusted for inflation). Luke Cage Stars in New Solo Comic Series From Marvel

Following the debut of Marvel's Netflix-exclusive Luke Cage TV series last year, a new solo comic starring the bulletproof hero has been announced.

Power Man & Iron Fist writer David Walker is penning the ongoing series, which will feature illustrations by Nelson Blake II.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Walker discussed how this new comic will differ from prior portrayals of Luke Cage, noting his new series will offer "a little more mature" take on the hero.

Overwatch Dev ‘Objects’ to Mouse and Keyboard on Console

Blizzard has come forward to speak out against the use of mouse and keyboard controls when playing its popular team-based shooter, Overwatch on console.

"The Overwatch team objects to the use of mouse and keyboard on console," Overwatch game director and Blizzard VP Jeff Kaplan said in a post on the game's official forums.

Kaplan went on to note that the studio has already reached out to Microsoft and Sony and "expressed

concern" with players using "input conversion devices" to enable mouse and keyboard play on Xbox One and PS4.

"We have lobbied and will continue to lobby for first-party console manufacturers to either: Disallow mouse and keyboard and input conversion devices or openly and easily support mouse and keyboard for ALL players," he added.

Nintendo Details Fire Emblem Heroes’ Post Launch Plans

Nintendo plans to add new stories, characters, and game modes to Fire Emblem Heroes as part of a post launch push for its smartphone strategy game.

“We plan to add new stories continually after release, at a pace of about two a month or one every two weeks,” Fire Emblem Heroes game director Kouhei Maeda told IGN. “We also plan to add things like new characters and skills, as well as new game modes that go in different directions from the current gameplay.” Maeda works for Intelligent Systems and directed Fire Emblem Fates for Nintendo 3DS.

According to Nintendo game director Shingo Matsushita, the company plans to keep working on Fire Emblem Heroes as long as players continue to support it.

M. Night Shyamalan Teases Split Sequel

A sequel to Split appears to be on the horizon, as director M. Night Shyamalan has taken to social media to tease a follow-up to his latest box office hit.

Shyamalan teased his next project on Twitter, saying, "I have an 11 page outline for my next film in my bag. I can't tell you what it is, but If you've seen #Split..."

As noted by Variety, it's clear Split was created as one part of a greater series of stories, but specifics regarding the follow-up's plot (or budget) have yet to be revealed.
