Marvel Teases Evil Captain America Comic Event
Marvel's next major event comic may be focused on Captain America and Hydra double agent Steve Rogers. That's the impression Marvel gave when they released this teaser image today:
The image was accompanied by the Abraham Lincoln quote "A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand." This is a clear reference to the fallout of Civil War II, which only very recently wrapped up and which has left a great deal of bad blood lingering among Marvel's heroes. The Marvel U. is a fractured and divided place currently, and those tensions look to play directly into Secret Empire.
First Trailer for New Netflix Series Frontier
Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming new series Frontier, starring Aquaman actor Jason Momoa.
Though brief, the trailer does give a decent first look at Frontier's dark tone and plot, and the series' main antagonists, the British Empire. There's also plenty of barbaric violence and close-quarter hatchet fights, particularly from Momoa's character, Declan Harp.
Frontier is set in Canada in the 1700s, and revolves around warring factions struggling to control wealth and power in the North American fur trade. The story is told from multiple perspectives and will explore the tense relationships between Native tribes and Europeans during this time period, which usually devolve into bloody conflicts.
The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Concept Art Revealed
One of the nice side effects of the rebirth of Star Wars on the big screen is all the great ancillary material that is being released surrounding each film. In particular, books like the Visual Guides or The Art of offer up a treasure trove of information into both the fictional world of Jyn Erso, Rey and the rest, as well as a look at the painstaking process in designing these characters and films.
The latest tome from Abrams Books and Lucasfilm is The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, by Josh Kushins (featuring a foreword by Doug Chiang, Neil Lamont, and Gareth Edwards), and we've got some art to show off directly from its pages. Included among the images in the slideshow below are early concepts of Vader's chamber, a very different Saw Gerrera, "Planet X," and much more. Click through for all the images right here:

The movie stars Alexander Skarsgård as a mute bartender who ventures into Berlin's "seedy underbelly" to find his missing girlfriend. The cast also includes Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Justin Theroux (The Leftovers).
Here's the full synopsis of Mute, courtesy of Netflix:

Rime Hands-On: Answering the Burning Questions
What is Rime? That’s the question we have been wondering since we first saw the game three years ago. Since then the answers have been sparse, giving us only a few details about what Tequila Works’ project would become. The hints were so small that, for a while, we even thought that the game might never be released. Fortunately, we were wrong. Today we can confirm that Rime is real, because we’ve played a couple of hours of its first chapter. It is an adventure full of exploration and puzzles that has amazed us as much as we were hoping and expecting…or even more.
Tequila Works tells us that Rime was originally conceived as an action-RPG adventure with survival and crafting elements called Echoes of the Siren. However what we’ll receive in May 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC will be very different. When asked to define Rime, Tequila’s team members talk mostly about feelings, and that’s not without reason. It’s an exploration adventure in which we are a kid in an uncharted and beautiful location. We’ll discover the hidden secrets there along with him. It’s an isle full of magnificent places, creatures, landscapes, mysteries and puzzles… lots of puzzles.
