Halley Gross, a credited writer on two episodes of Westworld's first season, has been revealed as Neil Druckmann's co-writer for The Last of Us Part II.

Druckmann announced Gross' involvement in the game over the weekend on Twitter after the game was revealed earlier this weekend at PlayStation Experience 2016. Gross co-wrote the sixth and seventh episodes of Westworld's inaugural season, "The Adversary" and "Trompe L'Oeil."

"Halley's my kickass co-writer. Can't wait to share more of the story with y'all. Spoiler alert: it's intense," Druckmann wrote in response to a tweet from Gross. Druckmann is credited as the writer of the first Last of Us.

Transformers: Last Knight’s Story, Characters Revealed

Four months ago, on a scorching hot August day, I joined a small group of journalists invited to the set of Transformers: The Last Knight, which at that time was about a third of the way through its planned 130-day shooting schedule. Knowing a little about the legend of director Michael Bay I dared to hope we might see a few explosions, possibly even from the director himself if rumors were to be believed. While Bay was incredibly friendly and even-tempered all day, he did not disappoint with regard to the literal fireworks.

As we walked onto the vast outdoor lot behind Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac, MI, we passed what looked like an eight-foot-tall Styrofoam sculpture in the vague shape of a robot head lying on the ground unattended. We saw a freestanding, multi-story glass elevator set we were told had been shot on just a few days before. Most impressive was a 300,000-pound platform balanced on a massive gimbal. Earlier in the shoot that platform had been raised to a 23-degree angle (though it would eventually go all the way up to 45) to send star Josh Duhamel and more than 30,000 gallons of water rushing to the bottom. Before we left for the day we were also given a chance to walk through several truly massive, Transformer-scale interior sets built for the film.

Capcom to Begin Reviving Its Dormant Franchises

With the long-awaited Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite revealed, Capcom has announced that it will now begin a process of "reviving series that have not had new entries recently".

In a press release, the publisher said that - after announcing the first MvC game in five years - it is looking to "enhance its corporate value even further by utilizing its library of rich contents."

However, no mention was made of what games might be up for a return. Currently dormant Capcom franchises include the likes of Mega Man, Onimusha, Power Stone, Viewtiful Joe and Dino Crisis.

The publisher also made clear that these revivals would be alongside its "regular major title releases each fiscal year", which include Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Dead Rising.

A Classic Piece of Spider-Man’s Costume Is Back in Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming will see Tom Holland's Peter Parker don a long-forgotten piece of the hero's kit - his web wings.

Reported by Omelete (and translated by Collider), a clip from the film shown (but not publicly released) at Brazil's Comic Con Experience showed web wings as an upgrade to the suit seen in Captain America: Civil War.

Installed by Tony Stark and delivered by Jon Favreau's returning Happy Hogan character, the wings are shown after Spider-Man jumps from the top of the building, with Omelete saying they maintain "the blend of retro and technological" in Tom Holland's character's costume.
