Independence Day Director May Tackle Dark Matter Film
Independence Day director Roland Emmerich is reportedly set to direct the movie adaptation of author Blake Crouch's sci-fi bestseller, Dark Matter.
Deadline reports that Emmerich is still in early talks with Sony to helm Dark Matter, with Matt Tulmach (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Jumanji) producing the movie. Despite the novel being published this year in July, Sony bought the movie rights for $1.25 million in 2014 when the book was just a 150-page partial manuscript, according to Deadline.
Dark Matter tells the story of college physics professor Jason Dessen who was once a brilliant quantum physicist. Now living with his girlfriend and son in Chicago, Dessen is suddenly abducted into a world where his theory about alternate dimensions has actually been adapted into a piece of world-hopping technology. With his family gone, Dessen sets out on a mission to somehow get back to his former life.

Dawn of War 3: Ork Faction Reveal
Editors Note: Who better to reveal a major Dawn of War 3 faction than the developers themselves? As part of the IGN First - Hot Games of 2017, Relic Entertainment's Dawn of War III Team explains everything you need to know about the savage Orks!
Brutish and violent, Orks are viewed with both derision and fear by other races. Orks are a part of a larger species known as Orkoids, but they are without a doubt the most dominant and aggressive of the known subspecies.
The faction is split into thousands of WAAAGHs, or warbands, each led by the biggest and strongest Ork on offer. Despite massively outnumbering all other races, their primitive instincts prevent them from working towards that common goal. If they were to unite into one massive WAAAGH, they would surely dominate the galaxy.
