Facebook Looking to Expand Into Original Video Content
Facebook could soon become a provider of original video content, as the social media giant has expressed interest in expanding into original scripted and unscripted programming.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company is currently in talks with producers about purchasing programming, which would build upon its current video efforts like Facebook Live.
Ricky Van Veen, the head of global creative strategy at Facebook, is heading up the initiative, and shared a few words about the company's vision for the project, saying, "Our goal is to kick-start an ecosystem of partner content for the
Lando Is Learning How to Be Cool in Han Solo Movie
Lando Calrissian won't be as cool in the Han Solo film.
Since the Star Wars standalone movie takes place before Empire Strikes Back, actor Donald Glover said young Lando is still learning how to be smooth. He opened up about his approach to the character for the Han Solo film while talking to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Cool changes depending on the perspective," Glover said. "Also, it's fun because

, so he's still figuring it out a little bit, which is fun."
Glover has mentioned before that he's "very honored" to play Lando. He'll star in the Star Wars movie with Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo and Emilia Clarke in an unspecified role.
Final Fantasy XV Holiday DLC Coming This Month
To celebrate the holiday season, Square Enix will release a free game update and DLC for Final Fantasy XV next week, on December 22.
The free update, which will be available to everyone, adds a "New Game Plus" option, allowing those who have already finished the main story to replay the game with all of their data carried over.
In addition, a new photo frame feature is being added, allowing players to select from an array of different frames that can be used to display photos taken by Prompto during their journey.
Those who purchased the game's Season Pass or the Final Fantasy XV Digital Premium Edition will also receive the premium Holiday Pack + DLC, which, as described by Square Enix, includes the following:
Rogue One Makes $29 Million in Thursday Night Box Office
Rogue One delivered the biggest Thursday preview night at the box office of 2016, pulling in $29 million domestically.
As noted by Box Office Mojo, this number beats out the preview night hauls of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($27.7 million) and Captain America: Civil War ($25 million). Rogue One now ranks as the seventh largest preview night of all time.
Preview night is the term used for pre-midnight screenings before a film's official opening day and are, ultimately, calculated into the movie's first day at the box office. So Rogue One's preview night will be factored into its Friday and opening weekend numbers.
DuckTales Cast Includes Doctor Who, Community, SNL Stars
Ahead of its premiere next year, the official voice cast for Disney XD's new DuckTales series has been revealed.
David Tennant will voice Scrooge McDuck, while Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) will play Huey, Dewey, and Louie, respectively. The remaining core cast includes Beck Bennett (SNL) as Launchpad McQuack, Kate Micucci (Steven Universe) as Webby Vanderquack, and Toks Olagundoye (Telltale Games' Game of Thrones) as Mrs. Beakley.

In addition to the characters mentioned above, DuckTales will feature many other familiar faces from the original show, including Donald Duck, Duckworth, Gizmoduck, Magica DeSpell, Flintheart Glomgold, Gyro Gearloose, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys, and Gladstone Gander.
Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection Update Will Remove Weird Face
Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection patch 1.02 will remove the randomly generated, bug-eyed NPC seen in the Assassin's Creed 2 remaster.
"FIXED - A weird NPC face appears in Assassin's Creed 2 Sequence 1, Memory 1." the 1.02 patch notes say, via Eurogamer. The patch, which released yesterday for Xbox One and PS4, also fixes an issue where background music gets cut after synchronizing a view point in Assassin's Creed 2.

Nintendo Switch Preview Tour Announced
Ahead of Nintendo Switch's launch this coming March, Nintendo will tour across North America to provide the public with an opportunity to go hands-on with the console.
The preview tour will begin on January 13 in New York and conclude on March 5 in Los Angeles. Attendees will have the opportunity to play a number of select launch titles in an array of different settings, showcasing the variety of ways one can play Nintendo Switch.

Former Konami Executive Joins Kojima Productions
Shinji Hirano, former president of Konami Europe, lists President of Kojima Productions as his current job on his LinkedIn profile.
Spotted by The Koalition, it looks as thought Hirano has been president for at least a month, with a start date of November 2016.
The listing shows Hirano left his last position at Konami in March after a year as "Corporate Officer, Division Director, Sales Division" for Konami at its headquarters in Tokyo.
Rumors of a split between Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and Konami first began to surface in March 2015, with the news later being confirmed through official channels. Kojima went on to form his own studio, Kojima Productions.
Sense8 Christmas Special Trailer Released
Netflix released a new trailer for its upcoming Sense8: A Christmas Special.
The trailer, which is less than two minutes long, focuses on the show's eight main characters and their collective attempt at celebrating Christmas despite trouble always finding them. Mr. Whispers also makes a brief appearance haunting one of the Sensates, Will Gorski.
The Christmas special will be two hours long, and tells a standalone story about the show's eight protagonists as they try to connect with one another and learn each other's secrets. It will debut globally on Netflix on December 23.
Riverdale Poster Mixes Murder Mystery and Malt Shops
The CW has released the official poster for its upcoming Archie Comics mystery drama, Riverdale.
The poster features the show's six main characters, an old-school malt shop, and a couple of tasty-looking milkshakes. You can spot Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) sitting across from Veronica (Camil Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart). Jughead (Cole Sprouse), Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch), and Josie (Ashleigh Murray) on the other hand are looking in from the outside.

The poster includes an interesting tagline that reads "A great place to get away with it all," indicating that despite the innocent-looking malt shops and milkshakes, Riverdale is a troubled town filled with plenty of murderers and mysteries. The show is set in present day and will be a subversive take on Archie.
