Persona Director, Artist Reveal New Fantasy RPG

Atlus has established a new internal studio called Studio Zero and announced its first project, a new fantasy RPG from Persona series director Katsura Hashino, artist and character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro.

According to details in the latest issue of Famitsu translated by Gematsu, the game is currently codenamed Project Re Fantasy. It is an entirely new project not connected to the Shin Megami Tensei or Persona series.

While few details about Project Re Fantasy beyond its fantasy setting have been revealed, images in Famitsu show off soldiers fighting a dragon, a young woman who appears to be an elf, and characters riding in carriages and on horseback.

Missing Supergirl? Well here's a new teaser to get you excited for her return in 2017 -- with a tease of the upcoming Kevin Smith-directed episode, no less.

A new teaser trailer, called "Supergirl Lives" -- like the name of the midseason premiere episode -- teases a dramatic return to the world of Supergirl after the multi-show "Invasion!" crossover. Wrestling Wrap Up: SmackDown Shines By Addressing Dean and Renee’s Relationship

Ho ho ho, merrrrrryyy last Wrap Up of 2016!

That's right, there's no official Wrap next week, though there will be that giant mess of a Year in Wrestling feature that I dump on everyone's lap like a crying, soaked toddler on a detoxing mall Santa so get ready to see a lot of regurgitated .gifs and recycled thoughts and opinions.

Let's get things started with a recycled sentiment from a few months back! I think there's a pretty strong consensus that SmackDown Live is better brand right now. Not without its own flaws, the 'Down has pretty much pwned (surprise, it's 2006!) RAW each week thanks to one less hour, some tighter storytelling, some unexpected brass ring grabbing, and the sass of post-show Talking Smack.

Super Mario Run Reaches 40 Million Downloads in 4 Days

Super Mario Run was downloaded 40 million times in its first four days, Nintendo revealed this morning.

According to Nintendo, Mario's mobile debut was the "the fastest in App Store history" to reach the milestone, and was at the top of the free app chart in over 140 different countries, plus was among the ten highest-grossing apps in over 100. Nintendo didn't release specific numbers for how many players went on to purchase the full version of the app.

Super Mario Run's 40 million downloads puts it ahead of the record-setting pace set by Pokemon Go, which reportedly reached 30 million downloads in two weeks — though a direct comparison is tricky considering platform and region availability.

"For two years, Andy

and I transitioned out of Naughty Dog, knowing we were leaving after having announced we were going to leave and having chosen successors," Rubin said on the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered. "It was very important to us that Naughty Dog survive and Naughty Dog go farther."
