A Series of Unfortunate Events: First Look at Count Olaf
Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming adaptation of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, revealing the series' protagonists the Baudelaire orphans and their evil guardian Count Olaf.
Neil Patrick Harris stars as Count Olaf, who is determined to somehow get ahold of the three Baudelaire children's fortune, left to them after their parents have died under mysterious circumstances. Check out the trailer below:
The first teaser trailer for the series only featured Olaf offscreen via voiceover, while Patrick Warburton, who will star as series author (and character in the series) Lemony Snicket took the spotlight. Netflix also released some new images of Harris as Olaf alongside the new trailer.
Watch Dogs 2 Pre-Orders Below Ubisoft’s Expectations
During a call with investors today, Ubisoft said pre-orders for Watch Dogs 2 were not as high as the company had expected.
The Crew, Rainbow Six Siege, and The Division each have more that 10 million registered players, the company also revealed. A steady flow of updates to its games has helped grow its monthly active user 44 percent over last year.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained pre-orders for Far Cry 3 also came in below company expectations in the lead up to the game's release, but positive reception to the game led to high sales none the less.
"People wanted to see if the game was up to standards," Guillemot said during the question and answer period of the call, believing the lower than expected pre-orders for Watch Dogs 2 are the result of a similar situation.

Ghost in the Shell Is Keeping Michael Pitt’s Villain a Mystery
All that's known about Michael Pitt's villain in Ghost in the Shell is his name: Kuze. Though that should be enough to offer some insight about where he fits into the film, as "Kuze" is an antagonist in the Ghost in the Shell anime series Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, it seems as though the name is not as much of a clue about the film's villain as it might seem.
During a visit to the film's New Zealand set, we learned from the producers and cast of the movie that Ghost in the Shell is going to do its own riff on a villain story, seemingly by drawing on various elements of the existing material.
