Capcom Questions Multiplatform Ports to Nintendo Switch
Capcom is currently planning what it will develop for the Nintendo Switch, but has indicated that it may not be bringing games designed for PS4 or Xbox One to the new console.
Nintendo has long been criticised for its relatively underpowered hardware, and the resulting lack of attention from third-party developers and publishers. In that regard, hopes for the Switch were raised when its reveal trailer showed the console seemingly running Skyrim: Special Edition and an NBA 2K game, as well as when Nintendo revealed a fairly comprehensive list of third-party partners for the platform.
8 Years Later, Turtle Rock Releases Left 4 Dead’s Final Campaign
Turtle Rock Studios has released a final campaign for the first-person survival horror game, Left 4 Dead.
Left 4 Dead first released in 2008. The unreleased level, Dam It, "stitches together" Dead Air and Blood Harvest and includes a couple of Survival maps not previously released, either.
Here's a bird's eye view of what it entails, complete with annotations from the development team:
CoD: Infinite Warfare UK Sales Down Almost 50% in UK
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has seen an almost 50% drop in first-week UK sales compared to last year's Black Ops 3 - and yet it's still the second largest launch of the year.
According to GfK Chart-Track, launch sales have fallen 48.4%. The major difference between the two releases is Infinite Warfare's lack of a last-gen Xbox 360/PS3 release - but even taking into account only current-gen console releases, the drop is still significant at 43.6%.
But then you remember just how big a deal Call of Duty is - even with the fall in sales, it still beats out its biggest rival, Battlefield 1, to become the second best-selling UK launch of the year, after FIFA 17.
TWD’s Norman Reedus on Whether Negan Can Break Daryl
Full spoilers for The Walking Dead's latest episode, "The Cell," continue below.
Daryl is not in a good place. After being taken captive by Negan, Norman Reedus' character was taken back to the Saviors' compound where he's been beaten, tortured and forced to eat a heck of a lot of dog food sandwiches. But he's still not broken, as proven at the end of the episode. He's still not willing to be one of Negan's men, even to protect his own life.
It's a complex situation for Daryl to be in, and one that offers Reedus a lot of juicy emotional material, especially coming off the brutal Season 7 premiere. I got Reedus on the phone to talk about the events of "The Cell," including Daryl's headspace after Glenn's death, what he thinks of Dwight and Daryl's connection and whether Negan will ever break Daryl. Check out the full interview below.

The Walking Dead: Could Dwight Be Pushed Too Far?
Warning: Spoilers for this week's Walking Dead episode, "The Cell," follow...
Ever since the end of the The Walking Dead's Season 6 episode "Always Accountable," Austin Amelio's Dwight has been an ongoing problem for Rick and his crew. This wannabe Daryl not only killed Denise in "Twice as Far," but he also wound up getting the drop on several major characters in "East."
In this week's episode, "The Cell," however, we were allowed a peak into Dwight's life as part of Negan's Saviors. As one of the top thugs in the Sanctuary, Dwight's creature comforts and new status came at a high price - a cost that transformed him into a more sympathetic character.

Mel Gibson: Marvel Films ‘More Violent’ Than Any of Mine
Despite having directed gruesome war epics and dramas such as Braveheart and Apocalypto, Mel Gibson still believes Marvel movies are "more violent" than any of his films.
While doing an interview with The Washington Post about his latest effort, Hacksaw Ridge, Gibson was asked about the movie’s violent action sequences, which have been criticized by some to be at odds with the film’s pacifist main character, Desmond Doss.
Doss, an American soldier and devout Christian, refused to fire a single weapon during World War II. But, he still won the Medal of Honor for saving 75 soldiers during the Battle of Okinawa.
