While speaking to GQ, Reynolds expressed how disappointed he was to see Miller leave, especially since the director was so instrumental at making the first Deadpool such a runaway success.
“All I can really add is that I'm sad to see him off the film," Reynolds told GQ. "Tim's brilliant and nobody worked harder on Deadpool than he did."
Marvel, Fox Character Swap Deal for Deadpool, Guardians 2
Viewers of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 next year can thank Deadpool for the appearance of Ego the Living Planet in the upcoming sequel.
Speaking at a Q&A, as reported by The Playlist, Deadpool co-screenwriter Paul Wernick revealed that 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios agreed to essentially swap the use of Ego in exchange for allowing the Deadpool creative team to use Negasonic Teenage Warhead with different powers than her comic book counterpart in this year's Deadpool.
"Kurt Russell
in the new ‘Guardians’ movie was the character that Fox swapped with Marvel to
Negasonic Teenage Warhead powers," Wernick said.
Fox had to sign off on the changes being made to Negasonic, according to Wernick, and the result was that Ego could appear in the upcoming Guardians sequel. Though all specific character rights are not known, Fox has the film rights to certain corners of the Marvel comics universe (X-Men and the Fantastic Four included), while Marvel has retained and regained rights to certain characters.

Ghost in the Shell: Clint Mansell Composing Score
Paramount's Ghost in the Shell live-action adaptation will be scored by Clint Mansell, director Rupert Sanders told members of the press at a trailer launch event in Tokyo.
Mansell is most famous for scoring Black Swan, Moon and Requiem for a Dream. He also notably helped score Mass Effect 3 and Black Mirror's breakout Season 3 episode "San Junipero."
Sanders is currently editing the finished Ghost in the Shell film, and is developing the score with Mansell in tandem. He said, "We're kind of dancing around a bit of '80s synth and more sparse intricate sound design as much as instrumentation, and it's an evolving work in progress. We haven't scored the film yet."
Beauty and the Beast: 7 New Photos Released

Last week, Disney released the official poster for Beauty and the Beast. It undoubtedly looks familiar to fans of the original animated film.

Deadpool 2 Won’t Be Populated With Lots of X-Men
Deadpool co-screenwriter Paul Wernick has shared a few new details about Fox's upcoming sequel. The writer confirmed that like its predecessor, Deadpool 2 is taking a smaller budgeted approach and won't be inundated with X-Men characters.
"Going into the sequel, we are embracing this idea that it’s a small budget movie," Wernick said during a Q&A this weekend at a special screening of Deadpool at Fox Studios (as reported by The Playlist). He added that "we’re not gonna populate it with the entire X-Men cast."
With regard to the lack of X-Men characters in the original Deadpool, and why there won't be many in the sequel, Wernick said it's not merely a matter of budgetary constraints. "They're two separate franchises," he explained. "I think had we done that, we would have been making a mistake. Even if we did have the budget."
