With Willem Dafoe’s Nuidis Vulko set to make his debut in next year’s Justice League, the actor has confirmed he will reprise his role as the DC character in the Aquaman solo film.
Dafoe revealed the news while speaking to The Guardian about how different it is to work on Justice League compared to smaller indie films.
“Well, Justice League is very particular because it’s an ensemble movie and my character is being introduced here in order to be a principal role in Aquaman,” Dafoe told The Guardian.
News of Willem Dafoe joining Justice League came earlier this year. His character, Nuidis Vulko, is the science advisor of Atlantis and an Aquaman supporting character from the comics. Vulko is a good guy, someone who has known Aquaman his whole life and is part of the Atlantean inner circle.

Ubisoft Offers Update on Watch Dogs 2 Multiplayer Fix
Ubisoft has offered an update on Watch Dogs 2 "seamless multiplayer" feature, which remains disabled two days after its launch. According to Ubisoft, the Watch Dogs 2 development team hopes to turn the multiplayer back on "as soon as this weekend," if their solution works.
In a statement to IGN, a Ubisoft spokesperson said that ensuring the fix "causes no regression to the core single-player experience" is a priority, alongside smoothly integrating the new co-op features.
"To our current players, we sincerely appreciate the support and patience during this process," Ubisoft stated.
Watch Dogs 2's "seamless multiplayer" feature — which should allow randomly synchronized players to meet up in-game, hack each other in a hide-and-seek-style mode, or join the police to hunt down misbehaving players in Bounty Hunts — was disabled shortly before launch due to lag and crashes.
