Overwatch: Evidence of Christmas Event Discovered
A new mode and Christmas event could soon be coming to Overwatch, if recently discovered sound files for the game are any indication.
The files, which were posted by Reddit user Venxa, include clips for new hero interactions, as well as a Christmas jingle, which NeoGAF user Nirolak notes is likely for a holiday-themed event.
An Arena mode could be on the way as well, with several new announcer lines for Athena surfacing, including ones for "Now entering the arena" and "Gladiator." There's also a sound clip, which, the person who discovered the files suggests, could be the loading music for this new mode.
Could Injustice 2 Feature Watchmen Characters?
Characters from Alan Moore's Watchmen series may appear in next year's fighting game, Injustice 2.
This theory is based on a poll posted on Twitter from Netherrealm Studios' Creative Director Ed Boon, asking if fans wanted to see Watchmen characters in the sequel to the 2013 video game. As of writing, the vote sits at 74% 'yes' after 19,682 votes.
While many see Watchmen as sacrosanct, it's not the first time the Watchmen have appeared outside of Moore's seminal '80s series. Aside from the Zack Snyder film in 2009, the Watchmen have appeared in a 2008 motion comic, 2009 episodic video game, 2012 prequel series and most recently, alluded to in DC Rebirth, where it seems they'll be intergraded with other DC heroes.
Logan Director: Final Wolverine Movie More ‘Human,’ Less Green Screen
The upcoming third and final Wolverine film, Logan, is looking to avoid the same mistakes found in its two predecessors.
In the latest issue of Empire, Logan director James Mangold confirmed that Wolverine’s finale will be a much more human story than X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine were. Logan won’t include a lot of CGI action, and instead will focus on the character's vulnerable side, especially with his healing powers failing him.

Xbox Exec Phil Spencer Would ‘Love to See Mario on Xbox’
Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, recently expressed his interest in seeing Mario brought to Microsoft's console.
Speaking to AusGamers, Spencer cited Microsoft's collaboration with Nintendo in bringing Minecraft, which it owns, to Nintendo's Wii U.
"It’s been a great partnership on Minecraft," Spencer said. "In fact they put Mario in Minecraft on Wii U with the mash-up skin pack. And continuing to work with them on that and building a stronger relationship... I mean if that paid dividends down the road that lead to something else, that would be fantastic. ... I’d love to see Mario on Xbox."
New Assassin’s Creed Movie Poster Revealed
Michael Fassbender's Aguilar looks like he'll have more than just hidden blades in his arsenal to fight the Templar Order in Assassin's Creed.
20th Century Fox and Ubisoft Motion Pictures have released a new poster for the movie, focusing on the assassins and seemingly their weapons of choice. Aguilar, from 15th-century Spain, is the focal point, but other assassins surround him along with guns, daggers and crossbows. And eagle-eyed observers will notice Aguilar mid-leap of faith as well.

Star Trek: Discovery Reportedly Casts Michelle Yeoh
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon's Michelle Yeoh will reportedly star in the upcoming CBS All Access television series Star Trek: Discovery.
While the network has yet to confirm Yeoh's involvement, consulting producer Nicholas Meyer told ComingSoon.net: "I know Michelle Yeoh is in it."

BioShock’s Rapture Recreated Using 35,000 LEGO Bricks
Imagine Rigney is no stranger to building BioShock-inspired LEGO creations. Rigney, a huge BioShock fan, took his first swing at recreating a piece of BioShock Infinite by building a replica Sky Hook and model of Columbia, Infinite's setting. More recently, Rigney worked to recreate Rapture, the setting of the original game in the series, to mini-figure scale.
Rigney told 2K it took around 200-300 hours to complete the sprawling build, saying that figure "doesn’t count the design time in my head."
Rigney said the choices made as to what went into the rooms in the Rapture recreation came down to a matter of personal preference.

Death of X Reveals the Fate of Cyclops
The final chapter of Death of X answered the question of Cyclops' whereabouts in the current Marvel Universe.

For the past year, fans have been left to wonder what happened to Cyclops in the aftermath of Secret Wars and whether the various allusions to his death were actually true. This issue finally addressed that lingering question, revealing that Cyclops did indeed perish in his war with the Inhumans. Death of X reached its climax as Cyclops destroyed one of the two Terrigen clouds circling the globe. Cyclops then confronted Black Bolt and Medusa and was obliterated by the former's supersonic scream.
