This Pokemon Evolutions Fan Film Is Amazing
John Wikstrom seems to have a strong future developing fun shorts around video games he loved growing up, or retelling touching stories about gamers from around the net. His first short "Player Two" hit those notes perfectly showcasing emotion and memory to prove that games can be a spiritual experience.
This time he's put his sights on Pokemon and because of those childhood memories we've all been given a treat in the form of his Pokemon: Evolutions short. You can watch it below.
While it does look like it's almost an official Nintendo trailer for the game it was actually produced by fan Wikstrom and his cast of almost 20 supporters to make the short possible. When sending us the short, John said "Instead of showing what's new, I focused on what it was like to grow up with the franchise, and what it felt like when you first played." I don't know about what you guys think, but I think he captured it beautifully.
Gather Skyrim’s Sweet Rolls in the Streets of Sydney
If you live in Sydney and you like both Skyrim and the idea of eating food from a video game made real, you're in tremendous luck.
Bethesda has partnered with Sydney's Bourke Street Bakery to offer delicious, free sweet rolls to anyone who completes a very specific quest line. The quest? Find one of Bourke Street Bakery's 11 locations, go inside, and ask for one.
It's not a very hard quest, especially if you already live in Sydney.
From 10 am AET on October 29 and 30, you can get your free sweet roll once per day, with a limit of one per customer. The box in the promotional material gives the sweet rolls's stats, and claim each sweet roll replenishes +5 health, but that claim hasn't been officially tested so it should probably be taken with a grain of salt - keep an eye out for a taste test soon!

6 Exciting Things To Look Forward to on The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead's harrowing Season 7 premiere was a dark start to the new year, finally revealing Negan's victim and putting Rick in a situation where he knows the leader of the Saviors isn't a person he can defeat easily.
It's an episode that was divisive among fans and critics, but now that the band-aid has been ripped off, it's time to look forward at what comes after Negan's big kill. Fortunately, the future is a lot brighter for the show in many ways.
As executive producer Greg Nicotero explained during a recent conference call with reporters, opening the season with Negan was how The Walking Dead would launch its characters into realizing there's a much bigger world out there. "We thought that it was important to launch us into this season by showing the extent of what Negan is capable is doing, because that drives so much of where the series is going from here on in, with the opportunity to start introducing new worlds and new characters and intertwining all that," he said.

Batman League Fan Trailer Assembles All Caped Crusaders
A new fan-made Batman mashup trailer featuring all of the previous big-screen versions of the Caped Crusader has surfaced online.
The video, dubbed Batman League and spotted by Heroic Hollywood, sees Ben Affleck's Batman travel around to recruit George Clooney's Batman, as well as the ones portrayed by Christian Bale, Val Kilmer, Adam West and Michael Keaton, all done in the style of the Justice League trailer that debuted at SDCC.
2016 has been a big year for the Caped Crusader. In addition to the release of Batman v Superman earlier this year (and his cameo in this summer's Suicide Squad), the Dark Knight has appeared in his very own VR game, as well as a new adventure series from Telltale Games.

Minecraft Is Coming to Apple TV
During its live event today, Apple announced Minecraft is joining the list of apps available for Apple TV.
Apple CEO Tim Cook made the announcement almost in passing, mentioning only that it's coming to the device and will allow you to build worlds directly on your Apple TV.
No other details were given, so it's not known yet if it's the Minecraft Pocket version adapted for the device, or some other version of Minecraft.
Most of Apple's event was spent showing off the features of its new Touch Bar enabled MacBook Pro line up. The Touch Bar replaces the function keys on certain models of the new MacBook Pro.
