We got a nice look at the latest line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle block-building toys on the floor of New York Comic Con.

NYCC is chock full of awesome toys. We also checked out some awesomely detailed figures of iconic Marvel heroes.

Justice League Dark Inspried by Harry Potter, Final Fantasy and Full Metal Alchemist

At the New York Comic Con Justice League Dark panel, director Jay Oliva talked about how the new animated supernatural superhero movie was inspired by Harry Potter, the Final Fantasy video games, and the Full Metal Alchemist anime.

“I’m a huge Final Fantasy fan. I was inspired by a lot of the magic I watched in a lot of my old video games,” Oliva said. “

things like Full Metal Alchemist. I take all of the things that I love and throw them into the DCU and come up with something new.”

Oliva explained that when magic is used in the movie, it takes on a different look depending on who is casting the spell. The demons have fiery runes, Constantine’s magic is green, and Zatanna’s is white or blue. He borrowed the transformation symbols from Full Metal Alchemist. He said this movie is essentially what his version of Harry Potter would look like.

Matt Damon Explains Why He Won’t Play a Superhero (Yet)

We caught up with Matt Damon at New York City Comic Con and the star let us know why he won't be playing any superheroes anytime soon.

"I just haven't seen one that would interest me," he told us when we caught up with him after a panel for his upcoming movie The Great Wall.

But Damon hasn't written off a future superhero role entirely. He told us if a hypothetical superhero movie had a "great director," citing The Great Wall's Zhang Yimou, "I'd certainly look at it."

Until then, Damon said no superhero roles spring immediately to mind that would get him excited to dive in.

Citing the recent Spider-Man and Batman reboots, Damon told us "we're already repeating the superheroes. I don't know if there's one great one that I'm missing."

Matt Damon Addresses The Great Wall ‘Whitewashing’ Accusations

Matt Damon spoke to us during New York Comic Con about accusations of whitewashing in the star's upcoming movie The Great Wall.

Damon said he was "bummed out" by the accusations, but takes them seriously. However, he said he'd be surprised if people still felt like the movie was whitewashed after seeing the completed film.

"It's historical fantasy. It's a monster movie," Damon told us. He went on to explain he and Pedro Pascal's roles in the story.

"Pedro and I play mercenaries," Damon said, ones on a quest to steal gunpowder from the Chinese. "We feel like we can take over Europe if we have gunpowder."

However, their characters come upon the Great Wall on the eve of a huge battle against waves of mythical monsters. "There's a secret army" defending the Wall against the attack, which happens every 60 years. Damon said he and Pacal's characters "prove ourselves" to the secret army.

Tony Almeida Returning for 24: Legacy

During a 24: Legacy panel at New York Comic Con with the show's producers and cast, it was revealed Tony Almeida is coming back.

According to TVLine, Carlos Bernard has signed on to reprise his role as Almeida.

At the panel, no details were given specifically as to when Almeida will show back up in the new series, only that he'll "shake things up." The last we saw of Almeida was in the short film 24: Solitary, where we saw his life in prison and his work toward breaking himself out.

Bernard's return marks the first actor from the original series to be confirmed for the new show. Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer isn't the main character of 24: Legacy, but that doesn't mean he, or other characters from 24, couldn't return for the new series.

After that Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Common and director Chad Stahelski premiered a sizzle reel and a brand new teaser for John Wick: Chapter 2.

The Power Rangers trailer starts off with Dacre Montgomery's Jason getting busted for something and forced to go to Saturday detentions for the rest of his senior year. There he meets up with the rest of the gang: Kimberly (Naomi Scott), Trini (Becky G.), Zack (Ludi Lin), and Bryan (RJ Cyler). They somehow make their way to a restricted area where they discover coins that endow them with absurd levels of speed and strength. At one point Trini wakes up to find Elizabeth Banks' Rita Repulsa hovering over her. Rita threatens her, saying, "I've killed Rangers before..." and then tosses her against the ceiling like a rag doll. The final scene shows the group gathered in a circle at their command center willing their suits into existence, suits the cast revealed actually come from inside each Ranger.
