Legends of Tomorrow: Victor Garber on Firestorm’s Evolution
DC's Legends of Tomorrow is coming back in a big way with Season 2. From a premiere that introduces Nick Zano's Citizen Steel and features an appearance from Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen to the upcoming debut of the Justice Society of America (including new series regular Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen) to its quartet of recognizable bad guys in the Legion of Doom, the sophomore season of The CW series has a lot going for it.
In anticipation of Thursday's Season 2 premiere, I got on the phone to talk to Victor Garber about a more fun Season 2, what the new cast members bring to the show and what's in store for Dr. Martin Stein and Firestorm. He also opened up about his work with the charity Beyond Type 1 that raises awareness for Type 1 Diabetes.

Wrestling Wrap Up: Goldberg vs. Lesnar Isn’t Exciting
Those who've been reading the Wrap Up since back when it started in nineteen dickety three know that I'm not exactly the biggest NWO mark, now was I all that into Goldberg and his streak. I was more or less solidly WWE-all-the-way through the famed Monday Night Wars. Oh, I'd tune in and check out WCW occasionally, keeping on top of the storylines and such (mostly for the cruiserweights), but it was just never my marmalade.
So you can imagine that I'm not all that into Goldberg vs. Lesnar II. I do understand the name value. I get it. It's a marquee match. One that should probably be saved for WrestleMania, though the rumored thinking here is that WWE really wants to boost interest in both the 2K game and Survivor Series (which is the phantom 4 in the "Big Four" PPV lineup). 'Mania would be too late for 2K buzz.
Kevin Feige Talks Captain Marvel Director Search
With Doctor Strange on the eve of being released, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said the next of his Marvel superhero pipe dreams he's excited to bring to life is seeing Carol Danvers take to the big screen in 2019's Captain Marvel.
The movie has Brie Larson playing the titular character, with Guardians of the Galaxy's Nicole Perlman and Inside Out's Meg LeFauve writing the script. In August, it was reported that four filmmakers were lead contenders to direct the film, and Feige explained to IGN why it's so important that the director chosen be a woman.
Arrow Preview: John Diggle Has Some Advice
Now that the Arrow-verse is slightly askew thanks to Barry's actions over on The Flash, we know that John Diggle's life has been altered somewhat - and, presumably, that the reality we saw in the Arrow season premiere, which aired after "Flashpoint," was already a different timeline.
We only got a glimpse of Diggle in last week's Arrow season premiere, but in IGN's exclusive clip from this week's Arrow episode, "The Recruits," you can see Diggle (David Ramsey) reassure a nervous soldier before heading out on a mission to stop some Chechnyan terrorists. Check it out!
Justice League: First Look at Amber Heard as Mera
We are very excited to share this exclusive first look at actress Amber Heard as Mera of Atlantis in the forthcoming Justice League movie.
The images and video below include both concept art for Mera's costume design as well as a production unit still -- taken by director Zack Snyder himself -- of Heard in full costume as Mera.
The short video is a time-lapse concept art reel showing the progression of the costume design for the DC Comics character -- traditionally portrayed as the queen of Atlantis and wife of Aquaman. (Michael Wilkinson is the costume designer on Justice League.)

7 Big Differences Between Titanfall and Titanfall 2
In just a few weeks we’ll have our hands on Titanfall 2, and for those of us that are familiar with the original, there are 7 big changes you need to know about. Some of these are pretty major - like PS4 owners getting to play for the first time - but there’s also been major gameplay tweaks, even since the multiplayer technical test in August.
Titanfall 2 doubles the number of Titan chassis from the original. The six new Titans have their own personalities, weapon specializations, and core abilities. Similarly to the original three Titans, the new Titans come with customization options. You can find out more about each of the six new Titans in IGN’s handy Titanfall 2 wiki.

Changes Coming to Rocket League Competitive Ranking System
Rocket League developer Psyonix has issued a hotfix to adjust the game's competitive skill ranks.
Skill tier thresholds are now being lowered so that more players will be included in the top two tiers, Star and Champion. Additionally, these thresholds will be "configured differently" based on the mode being played.
"This means Doubles now has different criteria for reaching Grand Champion than Solo Standard does," Psyonix wrote on the game's website. "Each playlist should see similar percentages of players reach Champion tier and above."
The reason for the change was due to too many players being ranked at an average skill level and not enough at higher skill tiers, which created distribution issues, according Psyonix.
