Crashing Frank Miller’s Private DC Artist Master Class
It would be hard to find a pair of comic book creators alive today that have had a bigger impact on the industry than Frank Miller and Klaus Janson, so it’s little wonder they were the ones invited by DC Comics to teach this year’s DC Artist Master Class. A program started last year in order to provide in-person, in-depth training to DC’s exclusive artists, the class took place the day before New York Comic-Con inside a small makeshift classroom in the heart of the city.
I was invited to be a fly on the wall, not to participate but to watch some of the world’s finest comic talent sit in a room and talk shop. As this was a private training session intended only for DC’s under-contract artists, I promised to keep the particulars of the lesson to myself. Well, most of them.
The 5 Smartest Changes to Supergirl
Supergirl underwent a bit of a makeover in its transition from Season 1 to Season 2 (and CBS to The CW), and based on the premiere episode it's been for the better.
With Supergirl already looking a bit different than it did in its first season, we highlighted the five changes that were the smartest for the show -- and also got insight on the decision-making from executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.
Pokemon Generations Episode 7 Released
After teasing fans with a preview earlier this week, The Pokemon Company has released the seventh episode of its online web series, Pokemon Generations.
Episode 7, titled The Vision, takes place during the third generation of Pokemon games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald), and provides an inside look at the headquarters of Team Magma. Check out the episode below to see how the nefarious plans of Team Magma are threatened when an unexpected intruder breaks into the crew's facility.
Pokemon Generations will span a total of 18 episodes, with new installments releasing every week until December 23. The series highlights key characters and moments from the first six generations, including Lance's adventures with Dragonite and the iconic Elite Four seen in Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.
Feige on the Build Up to Avengers: Infinity War
All eyes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are looking toward Avengers: Infinity War, including Kevin Feige's.
There are five movies in between now and the 2018 release of Infinity War. First comes Doctor Strange, which hits theaters on November 4th, and then Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther. And, Feige laments with a laugh, people are already asking him for his next five year plan.
But looking ahead, the head of Marvel Studios believes the hardest challenge for the big screen superhero franchise is behind them.
"When Tony Stark and Stark Industries and the world of that first movie was the definition of the Cinematic Universe, the question was how do you bring a soldier from World War 2 into that in a way that makes sense, how do you bring a Norse god from a whole other planet into that in a way that makes sense, how do you introduce flying aircraft carriers into that? That was the challenge. Now -- particularly after Avengers, after Guardians, after this movie -- the sky's the limit with where we go," he told IGN at a Doctor Strange sneak peek footage event.
Watch Dogs 2’s Multiplayer Is a Blast
Earlier this month, we went in-depth into how Watch Dogs 2 is taking the foundation of the original, and injecting a dose of fun into nearly every facet of it. From San Francisco as an incredible playground and Marcus as a much more interesting character than Aiden, to the depth of hacks at your disposal, WD2 is all about giving you the freedom to create your own brand of creative fun.
That said, one thing we didn’t dive into is how Ubisoft Montreal intended to implement this new-found emphasis on the game’s multiplayer. Well, here’s what two of us thought after spending the better part of an afternoon causing all sorts of trouble around the Bay Area.
IGN UK Podcast #353: Going Rogue One Last Time
This week's podcast is a big one: a solemn, landmark occasion, in which we bid farewell to a founding member of the podcast: Christopher Tilly.
Along the way we may talk about Rogue One and Doctor Strange but it's all preamble to stories about Tilly's toilet antics over the years. We'll miss him very much.

Announced in a blog post, Chilton revealed that his last work on the game has been the first content update for the well-received new expansion, Legion and the content plan for further updates.
However, it seems there's more in store for Chilton at Blizzard:
"My personal journey working on WoW as Game Director is at an end," he explains, "but my journey with Blizzard isn’t. I’ll still be here, but will be focusing on another project within the company."

Cyber Danganronpa VR Could Come West
Spike Chunsoft has announced it is working on bringing Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial to the West.
PlayStation Plus subscribers in Japan can currently download the game, and it is also available with English voice-overs if you have a Hong Kong-based account, raising questions over whether it would be released elsewhere.
Spike Chunsoft said on Twitter earlier today: "English version currently Asia only but we're working to bring it to the west."
The 10 minute demo puts you in a class trial as the characters debate who killed Sakura. Truth bullets and words fly across your vision as you try and get to the bottom of the mystery.
