Final Fantasy 15 Soundtrack Being Played at Abbey Road
The Final Fantasy XV soundtrack will be played live on September 7 at Abbey Road Studios and live streamed around the world.
The one-off concert will be an hour long and will feature the London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as an appearance from composer Yoko Shimomura.

“With so many iconic recordings taking place here over the years, performing the music for Final Fantasy XV in the very same recording studio is a huge honor for me and for everyone involved,” Shimomura said in a statement accompanying the release. "I hope that music and video game fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience."
Scalebound Comics and Lore Book Are Coming
Titan Comics is partnering with PlatinumGames and Microsoft Studios to release comics based on the studio's upcoming action role-playing game Scalebound.
Through this new partnership, Titan will publish entirely new stories that center around the game's main character Drew and his dragon Thuban. The comics will hit in 2017, although it wasn't stated how many there would be or if they are going to be ongoing or limited series.
"We are thrilled to team up with one of the hottest developers in the video game industry to create Scalebound comics," sales and marketing manager Ricky Claydon said in a statement. "These comics will expand the lore of the games to appeal to an even wider audience!"
Mascots Trailer and Poster Revealed
Netflix has released a new trailer and poster for its upcoming comedy film Mascots.

And here's the official trailer for the Netflix Original comedy, which stars Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, Christopher Guest, Fred Willard, Zach Woods and many more.
Mascots centers around a group of sports mascots who all compete in the World Mascot Association Championships in the hopes of winning the Gold Fluffy Award. The film makes its Netflix-exclusive debut on October 13.
Stranger Things Season 2: 3 New Major Characters Detailed
Casting is already under way for Stranger Things Season 2, and details about three big new characters have been revealed as the search for actors begins.
According to TV Line, Matt and Ross Duffer are introducing Max, a "tough and confident" 12-14 year old skateboarding female, whose "appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era."
Max's older brother Billy will also be introduced, with the character described as driving a Camaro and being "very muscular and hyper-confident." The third character is Roman, a "thirtysomething gender neutral role" who "suffered a great loss at an early age and has been seeking revenge ever since."

The big blockbuster movie season may be over, but that doesn't mean that there aren't a ton of films still to come in 2016 that have us excited. How Is DC Celebrating Batman Day 2016?
It's September, which means DC's annual "Batman Day" event is right around the corner. Today DC Entertainment revealed its plans for this year's event, which will be held on Saturday, September 17.
All retailers participating in this year's Batman Day will be offering free copies of Batman #1 (the current DC Rebirth series). Participating retailers will include Pottery Barn Kids, Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble and Six Flags theme parks, as well as various comic shops, schools and libraries. Gears of War 4: Horde Mode 3.0 Details Revealed
Ahead of a showcase of the mode at PAX West this weekend, Xbox and The Coalition have revealed new details about Gears of War 4's Horde Mode 3.0.
Horde Mode 3.0, teased earlier this week as part of IGN First's look at the upcoming sequel, will see the return of five player co-op as players battle 50 waves of Swarm and DeeBees, with boss challenges coming every 10 waves. A new class-based system is being introduced as part of 3.0, letting players choose from five roles: soldier, sniper, scout, heavy, and engineer.
A "Fabricator" option is also being added to the mode, which allows defenses to be built anywhere on the map, as opposed to before, when items like turrets, weapons, and other defenses in static locations.
Get Ready for ‘Justice League vs. Suicide Squad’
DC's next major event comic will pair two of its biggest franchises. Justice League vs. Suicide Squad will pit the two teams against each other as Batman tries to bring down Amanda Waller's crew once and for all.
As revealed by The Wall Street Journal, Justice League vs. Suicide Squad is a six-issue mini-series that will ship in December 2016 and January 2017. The series will be written by Joshua Williamson (The Flash) and drawn by Jason Fabok (Justice League).
Ex-Exec: Dreamcast-Era SEGA Was Like Uncool Grandpa
After Dreamcast failed to take off, SEGA ran several focus groups as it worked to reposition itself as a platform-agnostic third-party publisher. According former exec Peter Moore, the feedback they received during this time of transition was less than flattering.
On the latest episode of IGN Unfiltered, Moore said the company "did a lot of focus groups" in San Francisco and New York, and when the participants were asked to describe SEGA as if it was a person, the company was thought of as a "granddad who used to be cool and has forgotten why" and is "not really the presence that he once was."
Picross 3D Round 2, Tank Troopers Revealed for 3DS
During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Tank Troopers, a new six-player multiplayer game headed to the eShop.
Tank Troopers features an assortment of troops for players to select, with each offering different abilities in battle. It’ll hit the eShop in Winter of this year.
Later in the stream, Nintendo also revealed that Picross 3D Round 2 is available today. Picross 3D Round 2 (which was released in Japan last year as Picross 3D 2) is a follow-up to 2010’s Picross 3D on the original DS. It features puzzles that can be unlocked by scanning compatible amiibo. A demo is also available on the eShop today.
