Hitman Episode 5 Gets a Release Date
Io Interactive has announced that Episode 5 of Hitman will be set in Colorado, and will be released on September 27.
We knew previously this episode would be set in the USA, and now we know it will take place on a Colorado farm compound which has been converted into a private militia training camp. Plus, Agent 47 will have to take out four targets.
"Sean Rose, Maya Parvati, Ezra Berg and Penelope Graves are four very different, very dangerous people, each with their own specialist skillset ranging from environmental terrorism to chemical interrogation," says the episode's description.
The mission is titled Freedom Fighters, and according to studio head Hannes Seifert, "from the moment you set foot in Colorado you're on enemy ground." Freedom Fighers will "add serious momentum to the story, and set up an intriguing season finale for players."
FIFA 17 Demo Release Date Announced
The FIFA 17 demo will be available on September 13.
This news comes via GameReactor's interview with FIFA 17 lead producer Garreth Reeder from last week. The full game is due for release on September 27 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
EA Sports has been slowly revealing the highest rated players in the game, and the man on top this year raised a few eyebrows.
German player Marco Reus is this year's cover star, following a fan vote in which he beat James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, and Eden Hazard.
Batman: Return to Arkham Gets a New Release Date
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced Batman: Return to Arkham will be available on October 21.
The bundle, which contains remastered versions of Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and all of the DLC for both games, was originally supposed to come out in July, but was delayed for an unknown amount of time.
There's also a new trailer showing side-by-side footage of the original games next to the remastered versions. The new games will be running on Unreal Engine 4.
Return to Arkham will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $50 / £40.
Battlefield 1 Beta Could Get New Map
Battlefield 1 developer DICE is asking for new Battlefield 1 Beta map suggestions.
Word comes by way of Twitter, where a few users have expressed their weariness for the beta's only map, Sinai Desert. The official Battlefield Twitter account has taken notice, replying to a few of the complaints and asking for new map suggestions to be submitted on the Battlefield forums.
DICE has yet to confirm a new map, but the open beta is set to end this Thursday, September 8. Currently, players can only try out Conquest (64 players) and Rush (32 players) game modes on the Sinai Desert map.
Narcos Renewed for Season 3 and Season 4 by Netflix
Following the debut of Narcos: Season 2 last week, Netflix has renewed its critically acclaimed original series for two more seasons.
Alongside the announcement, Netflix released a teaser trailer for Season 3, which will debut on the popular streaming service sometime next year.
José Padilha (RoboCop) and Eric Newman (Children of Men) will remain on board as executive producers for Season 3 and Season 4.
Narcos centers around the various drug kingpins of the 1980s and tells the true stories of the law enforcement's struggle to bring them to justice. Ark: Survival Evolved Dev Responds to Criticism Over Paid Expansion
ARK: Survival Evolved's community manager Jat has written a response to the recent fan outcry over the Scorched Earth expansion.
Scorched Earth released last week, and includes a new desert area as well as new tools, creatures, and weapons. Fans were confused about the decision to release a paid expansion for a game which is still in Steam's Early Access program.
"Everyone at Wildcard wakes up every day thinking about how we can make ARK into a better game today than it was the day before," said Jat. "It’s not always easy, but our intent is ever-forward progress towards a retail release that will be far more ambitious in scope and features than our original vision when we launched ARK into Steam Early Access in June 2015."
Pokemon Sun and Moon Getting Pokemon Snap Style Mode
A new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon has introduced a raft of new details about the game, including the Poke Finder, a new mode that looks very much like Game Freak has built fan-favourite Pokemon Snap into the new games.
The Poke Finder allows players to take pictures of wild Pokemon in set locations around Alola, then have those photos rated. The better the rating, the more features are unlocked for the Finder - for instance, the ability to zoom in.
The trailer also revealed that Sun and Moon are set "12 hours apart" - essentially, while Pokemon Sun will be tied to the time on your 3DS internal clock, following a full 24-hour day/night cycle, Pokemon Moon will be shifted 12 hours ahead of that time.
More Devs on Cyberpunk 2077 Than ‘The Witcher 3 in its Most Intensive Month’
A lot of people are working on CD Projekt Red's upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, according to responses to questions from investors.
A translation from one question about the size of the team working on the game was translated on Neogaf (thanks Gamespot).
"There are currently more game developers working on Cyberpunk 2077 than on The Witcher 3 in its most intensive month," says the translation.
CD Projekt recently said it has over 100 people working on standalone card game Gwent, but this recent response is unclear about whether there is any developer crossover between games.

We Finally Know When the Battlefield 1 Beta Will End
The Battlefield 1 Open Beta will end on Thursday, September 8.
EA made the announcement on Twitter, alongside an announcement of a patch for the ongoing free game test.
The patch disables time limits in the beta's Sinai Desert Conquest mode, meaning games will now run indefinitely until one team reaches the full 250 points limit.
Finally, EA also announced that the beta would begin "simulating extreme launch situations" to test the game's servers, which may result in downtime. It's not clear whether this stress test will run for the duration of the beta - we've contacted EA for comment on that.
