New Xbox Live Features Now Available in Preview Program

First announced at E3, two new Xbox One platform features will be available to Xbox One Preview members on console and the Xbox app starting today.

Clubs are created and managed by players, allowing Xbox users to come together in communities that can be used to coordinate game sessions, share content, and as group voice and text chat systems. Clubs can be associated with specific games and then found in that game's hub on Xbox One or the Xbox app. Club admins will have tools to manage their communities, and Club names must be reserved, as no two Clubs can have the same title.

Shia LaBeouf Was Almost in Suicide Squad

Director David Ayer tried to persuade Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf to join the cast of Suicide Squad.

Speaking with Variety, LaBeouf said Ayer approached him about the role of Lieutenant GQ Edwards after they worked together on Fury. “The character was different initially,” the actor said. Scott Eastwood would eventually be cast in the role.

“Then Will

came in, and the script changed a bit," he continued. "That character and Tom

character

got written down to build Will up.”

LaBeouf added that the studio wasn't going to cast him for the part anyway. “I don’t think Warner Bros. wanted me," he said. "I went in to meet, and they were like, ‘Nah, you’re crazy. You’re a good actor, but not this one.’ It was a big investment for them."

Supergirl: Why Now’s the Right Time for Superman

In the first season of Supergirl, Superman remained a bit of an ethereal presence – whether we saw him from afar, from Kara’s dazed POV mid-fight or simply as text appearing in an IM from cousin Clark. But that’s changing in Season 2, as Tyler Hoechlin will actually play the Man of Steel.

So what changed behind-the-scenes to allow this to happen? Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told IGN it’s not as complicated as some might assume.

Said Kreisberg, with a laugh, “I think people would love to hear that we had to promise our children and there was a blood right, and a goat was sacrificed, but the truth is we're all partners, and we all want what's best and so it really wasn't a tough sell. We had our plan, and we presented it to Warner Bros. and to DC and they were totally supportive of it. It was more once they actually said yes, it was like, ‘Oh crap, now we have to do Superman!’ We have to find the right actor, and we have to write the best scripts. We have to make the suit. That was the stuff that gave us
