Warning: this article contains spoilers for Suicide Squad #2!
It's pretty much a given that not every team member is going to survive their time with the Suicide Squad. And so it was that the new team lost its first member in this issue. No sooner did they track down their elusive prize than Captain Boomerang was incinerated by a sudden blast of energy.

Writer Explains Hilarious Green Lantern Switcheroo
Today's Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #4 came with an unexpected appearance that left us in stitches. We talked to writer Robert Venditti about it and what it's like working with fan-favorite artist Ethan van Sciver, plus we touch on his Valiant Comics work on the X-O Manowar finale and the tragic element he added to Wrath of the Eternal Warrior, not to mention his new novel/comic combo book, Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape: Rise of the Robot Army.

To recap, Sinestro ordered his Yellow Lanterns to bring him Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and while they did return with a GL member, it wound up being loudmouth jokester Guy Gardner instead. Sinestro was not happy. Sapped of his powers, Guy's costume faded and we witnessed the wonderful revelation that Guy does not wear anything under his Green Lantern uniform -- not even underwear.
Pokemon Sun/Moon Have Version-Exclusive Ultra Beasts
In addition to the previously revealed UB-01, even more Ultra Beasts will be featured in Pokemon Sun and Moon, as The Pokemon Company has just unveiled version-exclusive "beasts" for its upcoming pair of 3DS games.
According to the company's announcement, UB-02 Absorption is a Pokemon Sun Version-exclusive Ultra Beast, whose "entire body is covered with bulging, powerful muscles," and has a "distinctively long mouth is said to be harder than diamonds."
Star Wars: Turner Signs $250 Million Rights Deal
Time Warner division Turner has secured the cable rights to Disney's collection of Star Wars films.
According to Variety, Turner signed a deal with Disney that industry sources estimate to be no less than $250 million. This partnership grants Turner the basic cable rights to 10 Star Wars films (four of which are still on the horizon), with a separate agreement being made with 20th Century Fox for the original film, A New Hope.
In addition to Turner, USA Network and FX Networks were also in contention for the deal with Disney.
The terms of the deal grant Turner a license that runs through at least 2022, incorporating the four yet-to-be released Star Wars films that are part of the package. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was released to record-breaking numbers last year, reportedly boasted a licensing fee of somewhere between $35 million and $40 million. The four films still on the horizon, including Rogue One and Episode VIII, are said to have each been priced similarly.
DC Rebirth Turns Tragic for Batman
Batman's world just took a dark turn in the new issue of Detective Comics.
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Detective Comics #940!
Things were already looking grim for Red Robin as this issue opened. Tim Drake managed to reprogram an entire fleet of advanced drones and force them to target him instead of innocent civilians. And though Tim put up a valiant fight over the course of this issue, eventually these overwhelming odds got the better of him.
How Civil War Affects Steve Rogers’ Costume in Infinity War
Don't expect Steve Rogers to be getting a major wardrobe makeover in Avengers: Infinity War even with the big changes at the end of Captain America: Civil War.
Full spoilers for Captain America: Civil War continue below.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently confirmed to the Huffington Post that when Steve drops the Captain America shield at the end of Civil War, he's giving up that superhero identity. But just because Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America doesn't mean he's going to look all that different as a civilian in Avengers: Infinity War. Get used to seeing a lot of Chris Evans in nondescript T-shirts and jeans, explained Infinity War costume designer Judianna Makovsky, because that's come to define his "Steve Rogers" identity.
Wrestling Wrap Up: Fine, Cena Can Be World Champ Again
FINE!
John Cena can be world champ again. I suppose. Hmph. Sigh.
.
.
That doesn't mean that Cena's next title reign will come at the expense of current WWE World Champ AJ Styles, but it's going to eventually happen so I need to be okay with it. We've staved this off for long enough. Cena hasn't been champ in two years. It's been an amazing, rewarding ride. He's had the U.S. belt, held various feuds, and even gone after the top championship a few times, but for the most part he's been out of the picture. Literally even, as he's been taking unprecedented (for Cena) time off to do outside-of-WWE stuff and things.
