Someone Drove a DeLorean at 88mph… And Police Caught Him

Not many people have a DeLorean, but for those that do, it's almost guaranteed they've tried to take it to that 88mph sweet spot.

According to The Guardian, that's what 55 year old Nigel Mills was doing when he got caught by police in Essex, England on Sunday. Although he denies he was trying to go back in time.

In the 1985 film Back to the Future, Marty McFly goes back in time when he hits 88mph in Doc Brown's special DeLorean. In 2016, travelling that fast gets you a date in front of Chelmsford magistrates.

However, the case was thrown out of court when the officers who caught him speeding didn't show up. Laziness? A mistake? Or time travel shenanigans? We may never know.

The addition of the former Avalanche Studios team members and the opening of castAR Salt Lake City doubles the size of the development team, something Parkis calls a "bold step" in launching its mixed-reality platform.
