20 Images From the Awesome New Doom Board Game
Tabletop gaming is about to get a little more hellish thanks to Fantasy Flight Games' new board game adaptation of Doom.
The game has "two operations of six missions" to battle through, according to its creators. It also has some really sweet miniatures (unpainted!) that look like they took Bethesda's game and plugged it directly into a 3D printer.
Doom: The Board Game is $80 from Fantasy Flight Games and is expected to come out in the fourth-quarter of this year, just in time for the holidays.
QuakeCon has been full of really excellent sights, including some absolutely amazing PC casemods, one of which is a life-sized recreation of Fallout 4's Nick Valentine. It's incredible.
5 Crazy Pokemon Go Stories
Pokemon Go has been out for over a month now, and still the Niantic Labs-developed app continues to impact not just the mobile gaming market but the culture at large. The game's first few weeks of release have led to boosted sales performances for some businesses, the accidental discovery of multiple dead bodies, and a continued search for how and when legendary Pokemon will actually appear in the game.
And though Niantic's updates to the app, removing some features while promising the return of others, as well as the alleged appearance of previously unseen Pokemon like Articuno have dominated the conversation around the game this week, the app has had continued effects outside of the game itself. (And for more on all things Pokemon, check out the latest episode of IGN's new Pokemon show, Secret Base.)

Mr. Robot: What Lines Won’t Joanna Cross?
Warning: Full spoilers for the most recent episode of Mr. Robot follow.
Introduced as a recurring character in Season 1, Mr. Robot’s Joanna Wellick (Stephanie Corneliussen) quickly became a standout element of the USA series, proving she was just as calculated and motivated as her husband, Tyrell (Martin Wallström) – but perhaps even more dangerous, given she wasn’t as prone to flying off the handle and losing control as Tyrell.
Season 2 has seen Corneliussen promoted to a series regular and Joanna given more focus, as she searches for the missing Tyrell and attempts to keep a lid on the escalating scenarios in her life. All of which led to this week’s episode, where we saw her sanction a kill for the first time, silencing a less than trustworthy informant.
