The Flash: A New Villain Rises in Season 3 Promo
A new promo for The Flash has been revealed, teasing the rise of new threats in Season 3.
Check out the promo below to get a glimpse at the villainous figure.
Two primary villains will make their debut during The Flash's third season, but it's unclear whether the Dr. Alchemy or the speedster Savitar is the hooded character that is revealed at the 8 second mark in the tease. Dr. Alchemy traditionally wore a hood in the comics, while Savitar had a cult following that could explain this villain's followers. Let us know who you think we're seeing in the comments below.
Suicide Squad Photo Reveals Deleted Joker-Harley Scene
The relationship between Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn may have originally been a bit more abusive than the final cut of Suicide Squad ultimately portrayed.
Warning: Suicide Squad spoilers below.
The image, which was revealed by Rolling Stone Brazil (via Batman-News), provides an expanded look at the helicopter scene that features Joker and Harley. While the film offers a happier take, during which the two embrace, the uncropped photo pictured below provides a full look at an alternate take that depicts the Joker scolding Harley.
No Man’s Sky PC Players Dropped by 90% in Two Weeks
The No Man's Sky user-base has dropped significantly on PC since its launch two weeks ago.
According to SteamSpy's statistics, there were a little above 20,000 players in No Man's Sky's PC world this week, down from approximately 212,000 at launch. Take note that these numbers aren't the total number of users playing No Man's Sky on PC, rather, the number of users playing simultaneously.
While player drop-off is by no means unusual for a new release game with major hype behind it, such an extreme drop-off in such a short space of time might raise some eyebrows (The Division on PC, for example, had an 81% drop-off a little less than two months after launch). However, these numbers do not reflect users playing PlayStation 4.
Community Creator Writing New Doctor Strange Scenes
While Doctor Strange wrapped filming back in April, it looks like Marvel is making a few late additions, as the studio brought Dan Harmon on board to write some new scenes for its upcoming comic book film.
Harmon, who created Community and co-created Rick and Morty, is writing scenes that are for additional photography, a source told The Hollywood Reporter. Typically, Marvel movies (like most big studio tentpole films at this point) factor in several days of additional photography into their production plan.

Captain Marvel Director Shortlist Revealed
Marvel Studios has reportedly narrowed their search for a director for Captain Marvel down to three female filmmakers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the leading candidates are Niki Caro (Whale Rider, McFarland USA), Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland, True Blood) and Lorene Scafaria (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Meddler).
Two other earlier contenders, The Babadook's Jennifer Kent and Kung Fu Panda 2's Jennifer Yuh, are said to no longer be in the running.
Additional female filmmakers may be considered down the line.
"A decision won't be made anytime soon as Marvel is being very deliberate in its search," claims the trade. "Insiders tell THR that the next stage will involve Marvel giving a treatment and documents to the directors in order to prepare a detailed presentation."
Battlefield 1 Premium Pass Announced
EA and DICE have revealed what players can expect in Battlefield 1's season pass, which is available for purchase separately from the game.
The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will include four major expansions packs, the first of which, titled They Shall Not Pass, will be available in March 2017. The new DLC packs will allow players to take on the roles of new armies introduced into the game — They Shall Not Pass will make the French army playable, while a later expansion will introduce the Russian army.
The four packs will introduce 16 new multiplayer maps in total, as well as new Operations, game modes, elite classes, 20 new weapons, and new vehicles.
Those who purchase the premium pass will also receive access to each expansion two weeks earlier than those who purchase them individually.
