Pacific Rim 2 Won’t Star Charlie Hunnam
Charlie Hunnam won't be reprising his role as Jaeger pilot Raleigh Becket in Pacific Rim 2, the actor has confirmed.
Speaking to MTV, Hunnam noted that while "there was definitely an incarnation of this sequel" that included his character, he wasn't able to fit the project into his schedule.
He cited the ownership change at Legendary Pictures—and the impetus to move forward on production as quickly as possible to cater to the Chinese market—as the primary reason why he wasn't able to fit it into his schedule. With China's Wanda Group calling the shots, Pacific Rim 2 has an aggressive film schedule, and Hunnam "was already booked up for a significant period of the time they were going to need."

If you haven't been reading Marvel's Iron Man comics in the last couple years, you might not be aware of the surprise revelation that Howard and Maria Stark aren't Tony's biological parents. Tony now knows he was adopted, but he still doesn't know the identities of his birth parents. But that's about to change as writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Alex Maleev shed more light on Tony's family history in International Iron Man #5 tomorrow. There, Tony will finally meet his birth mother and hopefully find the answers he and his readers have been craving for a long time.
We have to assume, given how long Marvel has built up to this moment, that the reveal is going to involve characters already familiar to readers. Most likely, Marvel is about to establish a family tie between Tony Stark and another famous character. But which one? What characters have the right combination of age, incredible intelligence and dysfunctional personality needed to give birth to someone like Tony Stark? We have a few theories.
