Top 10 Anime Beach Episodes

It’s summer, and what better way to celebrate the greatest season of the year than by hanging out on your couch and watching anime characters run around the beach? Most beach episodes have great fan service and nice breaks from their stories, but these episodes go above and beyond.

Outbreak Company’s “Swimsuit of the Dead” is a great example of a perfect beach episode, especially since otaku protagonist Shinichi works so hard to craft his own anime beach experience with the real fantasy girls he travels with. His fantasy fulfillment aside, the highlight of this episode is definitely watching a bunch of old scholars bicker about which swimsuit would be fitting for their 16-year-old empress.

Gotham Casts The Walking Dead Actor as Mad Hatter

The Walking Dead's Benedict Samuel has been cast as Jervis Tetch, also known as the Mad Hatter, in Fox's Gotham, TV Line has revealed.

Tetch, a "talented hypnotist teetering on the edge of madness," finds his way to Gotham while looking for his sister Alice, who went missing years ago in the city, according to TV Line. He'll appear in Gotham's third season, which returns to Fox on September 19.

Marvel’s Luke Cage SDCC 2016 Poster Revealed

Before Marvel and Netflix head to Harlem in September, Luke Cage fans will be able to get their hands on a brand new poster for the character at San Diego Comic-Con this week.

TV Insider has revealed the SDCC-exclusive Marvel's Luke Cage poster that will be available at the show at Marvel's booth. Designed my Marvel Entertainment CCO Joe Quesada, the poster features star Mike Colter as the titular hero with unbreakable skin and super strength..

"You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic," Quesada told TV Insider of the process.

DC's New 52 Birds of Prey comic didn't quite capture the magic of the old days. Luckily, it appears that the series is getting back to basics for DC Rebirth and narrowing the cast back down to the core trinity - Batgirl, Huntress and Black Canary. Judging from the cover alone, it appears that this team will have plenty of personal strife to work through in addition to battling the bad guys. But they'll have to work together, as this issue introduces a villain who's stolen the mantle of Oracle and is ruining Barbara Gordon's good name.

Here’s How Many Episodes are in Game of Thrones: Season 7

Game of Thrones: Season 7 is officially a shorter season.

HBO confirmed what previously had been reported and suggested by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss: Thrones' seventh season will only be seven episodes long. Up until now, each season of the HBO hit drama were 10 episodes in length.

Additionally, HBO announced that the upcoming season's production delay means it will premiere later than usual. Season 7 will arrive in summer 2017 instead of the typical spring premiere date.

Gary Busey is Hitman’s Next Elusive Target

It seems Agent 47 doesn't just take down mobsters and racketeers, but the famous as well.

Square Enix announced today that Gary Busey will be the next Elusive Target in Hitman. His contract, called "The Wildcard," will be available for seven full days starting on July 21 at 5 a.m. PT.

48 Hrs. star Busey was the winner in a community vote between himself and actor Gary Cole to be the next contract target. The new Elusive Target will appear in the Sapienza map and be available for much longer than previous Elusive Targets, which were limited to a 48-hour window of time.

This is part of the episodic Hitman's continued rollout of content, which this summer will include two bonus episodes set in Sapienza and Marrakesh, furthering the Hitman story and providing new avenues for assassination.

Japanese Server Capacity Delaying Pokemon Go Launch

Pokemon Go is now available in several regions throughout the world but has yet to reach Japan. And the game's developer says the country's servers are to blame for the delay.

The augmented reality game is expected to launch "soon, if not by the end of July," Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke told Forbes.

"At present, the server capacity is Japan is not powerful enough," Hanke said. "We are working hard with our partners in Japan to enable the servers to keep up with the demand once the game goes online there. We expect it to be released by the end of July."
