GoT’s Lancel Lannister Discusses the Rise of Mad Queen Cersei
Full spoilers for Game of Thrones continue up through its Season 6 finale, "The Winds of Winter," below.
King's Landing isn't going to be the same when Game of Thrones returns in Season 7. Thanks to a plot by Cersei Lannister to overthrow the High Sparrow and Faith Militant, many of the key power players in the capitol of Westeros met with a fiery death in the explosion of the Sept of Baelor.
One of those many victims was Lancel Lannister, who tried so hard to prevent Mad King Aerys Targaryen's secret stash of wildfire from being set alight. Eugene Simon, the actor who played Lancel, got on the phone to talk about his climactic sendoff and discuss the repercussions of Cersei's power play for the Iron Throne.
Dead Rising: Endgame Comes to Comic-Con
As Dead Rising celebrates its 10th anniversary, a panel will be held at San Diego Comic-Con next month for Crackle's recently-debuted Dead Rising: Endgame movie.
The panel will include stars Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives, Dallas), Marie Avgeropoulos (The 100), Jessica Harmon (iZombie, The 100) and Keegan Connor Tracy (Once Upon a Time, Bates Motel), who will join in a panel discussion, along with director Pat Williams (Continuum), co-writer and producer Tim Carter and executive producer Tomas Harlan (Dead Rising: Watchtower, Mortal Kombat: Legacy).
The Horror and Hardship of Clean Room
Gail Simone and Jon-Davis Hunt want to scare you silly. In Clean Room, from Vertigo Comics, the demented duo have treated readers to member dismembering monkeys, deranged entities, and enough psychological baggage to fill a Dr. Phil special.
To coincide with the first trade's June 21 release, IGN conducted an email interview with the creators to talk creative collaboration, how to use humor in horror, and the trick to getting sick on the page.
Wrestling Wrap Up: Is WWE Bringing Back a 2nd World Title?
While no real mention was made on Smackdown regarding Roman's 30 day suspension, it was time to address the Romaphant in the Room on RAW and actually talk openly about why "The Guy" was no longer around. With all of it sort of becoming an unintentional Roast 'o Reigns in the process, as Roman's "mistake" was called out over and over, along with his lack of ability to get over with the fans. They even threw his "I Own It" tweet up on the 'Tron for Rollins to mock. It was pretty surprising actually, even though there was really no way to stall for a month and not bring it up.
Making things even worse for Roman, overall though, was the fact that both Styles and Cena came out and wanted in on the Battleground match - instantly, and hypothetically, making the Battleground main event more exciting. Because look, I was excited about the triple threat because it was ALL Shield, not because Roman was in it. He just came with the package, so there was definitely room to goose it up if they decided to drop Roman from the bill. But they're not. As far as we can tell, he's going to sit out June and then show up to fight at the PPV since it occurs days after he'd return from his exile.

The world is in a bad place. Father Quar has an army of Kryptonians (including Superman/Wonder Woman’s daughter Lara), Gotham City is destroying itself, and Superman is trapped underwater encased in some nasty black goop. And if the cover to this week’s issue is any hint, Superman might rejoin the story, but it doesn’t look like he’s on Batman’s side anymore. What did that tar stuff do to him?
Resident Evil 7’s Demo Still Has Unsolved Mysteries
Two weeks after its splashy debut at Sony’s E3 press conference, Capcom’s Resident Evil 7: The Beginning Hour still has secrets.
The Beginning Hour exists somewhere between the franchise’s adventure game-style puzzle solving and the claustrophobic first-person horror of Konami’s P.T., a demo for the now-cancelled Silent Hills. Like P.T., The Beginning Hour is meant as a tonal representation of the game it’s teasing rather than a mirror of what the finished product will look like. It’s also just as stubborn and obscure as P.T. — a house full of questions, but no answers, subtle clues that lead players on a hunt for solutions that may not even exist, and a handful of items with seemingly no purpose.
