TMNT 2 Tops Box Office, But Falls Short of Expectations

Despite claiming the top spot at this weekend's box office, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows had a disappointing debut, earning just $35.3 million.

Producer Michael Bay's new Ninja Turtles movie continues this year's trend of underperforming sequels, making just over half of its predecessor's $65.6 million debut back in 2014.

This is particularly concerning for Paramount, having spent a whopping $135 million on Out of the Shadows. "I don’t think we’ve ever seen a sequel slump of this caliber," Exhibitor Relations analyst Jeff Bock said (via Variety). "These films aren’t as good as the first ones, and they’re suffering at the box office."

Hayley Atwell on What Peggy Would Think of Steve and Sharon

Spoilers for Captain America: Civil War follow...

Speaking at Dallas Comic Con Fan Expo, Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell jokingly offered up her opinion on what Peggy might have thought about the kiss between Steve Rogers and Peggy's niece, "Agent 13" Sharon Carter (played by Emily VanCamp), in Captain America: Civil War.

"Well, first of all she'd be turning over in her grave," Atwell said, with a grin. "She'd be like 'no.' And she'd inject herself with the blue serum and become a super villain. She'd break out of her coffin and ground

. She'd ground her. Then she'd kick Steve's ass as well."

Game of Thrones: Hodor Actor’s Song About His Character

Warning: Spoilers for Game of Thrones: Season 6 below.

In the wake of the tragic events that befell Kristian Nairn's Hodor in a recent episode of Game of Thrones, Sam Coleman—who played the young version of Nairn's character—has written a song in honor of Hodor.

The song, aptly titled "Hold the Door," recounts the sacrificial act that Hodor made in order to save Bran Stark from an oncoming army of White Walkers. You can give the song a listen below, which Hitfix points out features quite literal lyrics, including: "I only had one mission; A simple one, I knew I had to face; When I reached the time and place; Hold the door."

12 Monkeys: What’s Next for Cassie

12 Monkeys is halfway through what’s been another terrific season of time travel-powered thrills. In the midst of everything going on with the ongoing quest to stop the virus that has nearly wiped out humanity, and the search for the mysterious "Witness," Cassie (Amanda Schull) has changed dramatically, with Season 2 revealing that after she traveled to the future at the end of Season 1, she became a much harder and more dangerous person.

I spoke to Schull about the changes to Cassie and her relationships with Cole, Deacon and Jennifer, and what’s to come on the next episode of 12 Monkeys, "Lullaby," which finds Cassie sent on a very specific mission – only to find herself “rebooting” in time over and over again.

Game of Thrones: The 8 Worst Fathers of the Realm

With the Tarly clan having just been formally introduced on Game of Thrones, and Sam having to suffer through a cruel lecture from his loathsome father Randyll, we thought it would be a great time to scour through Westeros and shine a spotlight on all the bad dads. Also, Father's Day is right around the corner! So buckle up for some lousy, abhorrent treatment by some poor, prickly paterfamiliases.

We suppose one could consider themselves lucky to wind up with someone like Ned Stark as a father, but considering all the misery his kids have been through since his stubborn, noble death, it's almost a toss up. Still, better someone "honorable" like Ned than a devout nut like Stannis or a cold, calculating tyrant like Tywin.
