Microsoft Dismisses E3 Halo 5 PC Rumors
Despite persistent rumours to the contrary, Microsoft insists Halo 5: Guardians will not be coming to PC.
In a statement to PC Gamer, a Microsoft spokesperson said: "Our approach is to deliver epic Halo experiences designed for PC gamers and Windows 10, such as Halo Wars 2 and the recently announced Halo 5: Forge. There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC.”
The latest rumour about a potential port surfaced when NeoGAFer Enter the Dragon Punch stated that he had it "on good authority from multiple sources that Halo 5 will be coming to PC".

PS4 Neo Confirmed, Won’t Be at E3
The PlayStation 4 Neo is real, but the upgraded PS4 console won’t be at this year’s E3.

Pokemon GO Is Your Own Pokemon Journey Brought to Life
Pokemon GO, the upcoming Pokemon-themed augmented reality app, shines light on a different side of being a Pokemon Master. We met with developer Niantic, known for AR game Ingress, on the pier in San Francisco to take a walking tour of the app.
We saw a lot of Pokemon GO on our tour, and we also got a closer look at one of San Francisco’s most gorgeous areas with a Slowpoke or two to show us the way. Read on to see how our first real-life Pokemon adventure unfolded.
We peer down at the Pokemon GO app in person for the first time. It’s a little embellished GPS — we can see the curve of San Francisco’s The Embarcadero and the Bay Bridge jutting out into the distance. Looking up, it’s a beautiful day filled with joggers and dogs. Looking back down, it’s those same San Francisco streets near the IGN office that we’re already familiar with, except they’re peppered with blue markers called Poke Stops. These Poke Stops are based on real-world locations, like art installations, parks, and monuments, that are easily accessible to the public. The location data comes from Ingress, and much of that data comes from real people giving feedback about where they live. We set off toward a nearby Poke Stop along The Embarcadero.
World of Warcraft: Legion to Get Animated Shorts Before Release
Blizzard is going to be releasing a series of animated shorts prior to the release of the next World of Warcraft expansion, Legion.
According to PCGamesN, these shorts won't be in the same style as Overwatch's, but rather in the style of Lords of War, the animated comic book style videos Blizzard released before the Warlords of Draenor expansion.
The series will be called Harbingers, and will focus on Demon Hunters, Legion's new class, and their master Illidan.
9 Little Things to Know About Yooka-Laylee
Even though Yooka-Laylee is the first game from Playtonic Games, it has tonnes of heritage – that’s because so many of the team behind it also worked on such classics as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country.
Recently, we had a good old look at an early version, and when I started asking the developers for some lovely tidbits about their game, I could barely stop them going on. They told me a bunch of awesome little things about the game, its lead characters, and how it all works. What do I bring to the party? Well, I’ve arranged them into this nice little list with numbers and headlines.
Torment: Tides of Numenera Delayed Again
InXile has announced Torment: Tides of Numenera has been delayed until 2017.
In an update on its Kickstarter page, the studio confirmed that its successfully crowdfunded RPG has once again been delayed, this time slipping to next year.
"When we last checked in, we were heading towards a content complete milestone, and we are pleased to say we have hit that mark," inXile boss Brian Fargo stated in yesterday's Kickstarter update. "The game is playable from beginning to end, which marks a major step forward. This is one of the most content-rich role playing games I have ever worked on."

What new games will be announced (if they haven't leaked already)? Will we learn more about these mythical-but-almost-certainly-happening new consoles? Don't forget, for some reason we're running 10 kilometres/perish for charity - here's our Just Giving page if you'd like to sponsor us!
Blizzard on the State of Hearthstone
It’s been a month and a half since the world of Hearthstone was turned upside down by the introduction of Standard mode, a number of nerfs to basic and classic cards, and the release of the new expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods. Today I caught up with senior game designer Mike Donais and game designer Peter Whalen to chat about how things are going with the game.
Stay tuned for the second part of this interview (publishing after E3), which deep dives into the creation of the Old Gods themselves.
Blizzard: World of Warcraft: Legion Will Be ‘Dungeon-Centric’
Legion, the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft due out on August 30, sounds rather magnificent. It's a wonderland where level requirements for most zones have been stripped away, allowing players to level with their friends without the annoyances of coordinating play sessions. The launch oozes with dungeon updates, order halls with quests that grant each class an individuality they had before, and jaunts into long-anticipated locations from lore like the Emerald Dream. It's almost certainly going to turn out to be a launch that gets Blizzard to a point where they'll happily report WoW's subscription numbers again.
And yet I'm worried about what comes after. I had such high hopes for the Warlords of Draenor expansion, which I scored with a 9. And as far as the launch version and the promise it brought goes, it deserves that score. But as the months went past, Blizzard failed to capitalize on that renewed vigor and ages went by without a patch. They neglected it. As strong as the foundation is, many people left out of sheer boredom. As of right now, we've been almost exactly a year without a real World of Warcraft patch, and many of the remaining die-hards just log in to collect their garrison gold.
