Stan Lee Reveals His Favorite Comic Book Movie
Legendary comic book writer Stan Lee's favorite comic book movie is the first Spider-Man film.

Marvel Studios and Sony are rebooting the Spider-Man film franchise with Tom Holland as its web-slinging hero. The first standalone movie, titled Spider-Man: Homecoming, will open in theaters on July 7, 2017 and may star Michael Keaton as the film's villain.

Game of Thrones Star Is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Villain
Activision has announced that Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington will appear in Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
But rather than being a friendly face during the fight, Harington will star as "the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front," according to narrative director Taylor Kurosaki.
To aid in bringing Harington's villainous role to life, director Guy Ritchie, who previously helmed a live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was brought in to assist on production during Harington's filming. Activision has also released a sneak peek at Harington's mo-cap work.

How TWD: Season 7 Is the Beginning of a New Chapter
The Walking Dead ended on a major cliffhanger, and though the unanswered question of who died at the end of Season 6 left some fans disappointed, the creative minds behind the AMC show stand behind the decision to press pause when they did.
IGN had a chance to tour Greg Nicotero's KNB EFX Group studio in California in anticipation for the July 4th opening of Universal Hollywood's The Walking Dead theme park attraction. While there, I asked The Walking Dead's executive producer/director/EFX mastermind about how they plan to protect fans from having the cliffhanger spoiled for them before Season 7 premieres, and why it was so important that they end Season 6 at that moment.

Speculation about the character's inclusion in the series sparked recently after a casting call surfaced via TV Line for an "ambitious young journalist named 'Valerie.'" TV Line has now confirmed, as the site suspected, that 'Valerie' is, in fact, Vicki Vale.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange Could Have Horror Elements
Marvel's Doctor Strange movie is going to be a "different version of a Marvel comic," actor Scott Adkins said in an interview with The Huffington Post.
Adkins—whose role in Marvel's Doctor Strange is not currently known—added that fans should expect some "psychedelic stuff" in the Marvel film. "This is going to show that other dimension side. I'm sure
Scott Derrickson's going to bring some of his horror element into it as well."
Why Gaming Conventions Need Calm, Quiet Spaces
We all have moments when we’re vulnerable, in pain, or just need to take a step away from the overstimulation that can come with life, including the things we love: family, friends, school, work, and even video games.
Whether you’re suffering from mild amounts of stress or a mental illness slightly more debilitating, everyone deserves to have their thoughts and feelings heard. So begins the mission of Take This, a non-profit charity dedicated to spreading awareness of mental health issues — specifically in the gaming community.
“As with every community, we have strong alliances with one another, but we have discovered that even in our unique group, we still have a really hard time asking for help,” Shannon Gerritzen, co-Executive Director of Take This, tells IGN. "Take This wants to knock those walls down.”
