Person of Interest Producers Tease Emotional Finale

Person of Interest creator/executive producer Jonathan Nolan and executive producer/showrunner Greg Plageman recently screened the penultimate series episode, ".exe" (which Plageman directed and co-wrote), at the ATX TV festival in Austin, and then sat for a Q&A panel where they teased the upcoming series finale, airing Tuesday, June 21st.

Responding to a fan's question regarding the Finch/Reese relationship that kicked off the series and whether or not the show would circle back to those two core characters, Plageman said "I think you'll be really happy with the finale."

"Or really unhappy," Nolan added, painting a more dire picture for the Team Machine duo.

"We have a long standing tradition of getting people back together," Plageman continued, "and then it doesn't work out so well."
