Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Returns on Wii U Virtual Console
Those who have a Pokemon itch thanks to the previews for upcoming titles in the series shown at E3 will get a chance to scratch it this week. Three Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games will be added to the Wii U Virtual Console this Thursday, June 23.

Penny Dreadful Has Come to An End
Showtime has announced that their horror series Penny Dreadful has come to an end. There had been suspiciously little news about a fourth season of the show and when Sunday night's Season 3 finale concluded with the words “The End” on screen, viewers were left uncertain if this meant what it seemed to mean, but now it’s official – the period piece drama won’t be back.
Penny Dreadful creator John Logan released a statement on the show ending - though if you haven’t seen the Season 3 finale, be warned, what he says is somewhat spoilery.
Said Logan, “I created Penny Dreadful to tell the story of a woman grappling with her faith, and with the demons inside her. For me the character of Vanessa Ives is the heart of this series. From the beginning, I imagined her story would unfold over a three-season arc, ending with Vanessa finally – and triumphantly – finding peace as she returns to her faith. To have had fans that have embraced us so passionately has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my career. This has been a very personal project for me and I will be forever grateful to have worked with the incredible cast led by Eva, Josh and Tim, our amazing Irish crew, and with our wonderful partners at Showtime and Sky.”

Injustice 2 Will Have ‘More Aggressive’ Approach to DLC
Injustice 2 will feature plenty of additional characters following the game's launch, as NetherRealm creative director Ed Boon has confirmed the studio is taking a "more aggressive" approach when it comes to DLC.
"One of the things we’ve been doing, trying to do more and more with every game… is to support it for a longer period of time," Boon told IGN. "With DLC characters, we’ve had four with Mortal Kombat, six with Injustice, eight with Mortal Kombat X, and with Injustice 2 we plan on continuing that pattern," he added, noting "it will certainly be more aggressive than we’ve been in the past."
Boon also spoke to the game's new gear system—which allows the player to customize their character—suggesting the team is considering a pay-to-unlock model for those who don't have the time to earn all of the rewards by just playing the game.

The upcoming Nintendo NX will use some form of physical media, according to game retailer GameStop.
In last month's investor earnings call (transcribed by Yahoo and spotted by GamingBolt), GameStop CEO Paul Raines responded to a question about the console's rumored switch from optical discs to cartridges by saying, "It will have physical media, we will play a role in it, our pre-owned business will also play a role. Kojima Productions ‘Very Close’ to Full Production on Death Stranding
Once Hideo Kojima's Kojima Productions decides on its game engine, Death Stranding will enter full production.
There are currently two candidates, Kojima told Eurogamer. "We are getting to a very good point about how we are feeling about the visuals so we are very close to making a decision on the game engine," he said. "And once that is decided, we will be in full production."
Death Stranding's E3 teaser trailer was made using one of the two candidates. "For the new game elements I want to try, you always want to make it and then evaluate and iterate—and those we are doing on the other game engine candidate," Kojima added.
