Roman Reigns has been suspended by the WWE.

According to the WWE, his suspension—due to "his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy"—is effective immediately and will last for 30 days.

Why Bayonetta and God of War Fans Might Love Nier: Automata

What do you do when your planet is overrun by aliens and their murderous robot minions? Escape to the moon, of course.

So explained game designer Takahisa Taura when asked about the conspicuous absence of humans in Nier: Automata during a hands-on demo at E3 last week. Unable to deal with overwhelming odds, most homo sapiens have left the fight for Earth to androids created specifically to take on the extraterrestrials' “bio-machines.” It’s a fight to the death, and from what I’ve experienced of Automata’s combat so far, it’s going to be epic.

During the demo I controlled 2B--one of Automata’s main android protagonists--as she took on hordes of mechanical enemies. 2B’s bot-destroying arsenal includes a short sword, a great sword, a pair of massive gauntlets (think the Nemean Cestus from God of War), and a companion pod that hovers above her and acts as both a gun turret and temporary zipline. Each of these upgradable battle instruments is assigned a face or shoulder button, making interchanging them a breeze. As I gleefully smashed, slashed, shot, and dodged my way through wave after wave of malicious automatons, I was happily reminded of both the frantic, fluid combat of Bayonetta (hardly surprising given that Platinum Games is involved in both titles), and the cathartic, arcady button-mashing of God of War. There was an immensely satisfying rhythm to demolishing swarms of robots, but that doesn't mean I could just turn off my brain.  Each type of enemy has its own unique properties, and I had stay on my toes and change up tactics if I wanted to stay one step ahead of overwhelming odds.

Justice League: Batman’s 2 New Vehicles and Costume

Batman will have two new vehicles to travel around in and fight Parademons with in next year's Justice League. (Some small SPOILERS ahead.)

I visited the Leavesden set of the Zack Snyder-directed DC movie last Friday, during which time production designer Patrick Tatopoulos took the invited press on a tour of the sets to show off Batman's new rides.

One new Bat-vehicle is the Night Crawler (or, simply, the Crawler), a four-legged vehicle designed to travel through tunnels and scale walls. It has a narrow cockpit, which Batman operates almost like a forklift driver, and four spider-like legs that can puncture through concrete allowing him to scale or break through walls. It also has weaponry, including flamethrowers for toasting Parademons (as we saw in concept art in the production war room). The overall vibe reminded me of those DARPA robot dogs, but big enough to carry a few people and with more insect-like legs.

Marvel Heroes Are Divided After Civil War 2

Civil War 2 has only just gotten underway, but already Marvel is offering a glimpse of what's to come after this latest major crossover. The publisher is planning another relaunch of sorts for this fall, one that will re-use the "Marvel NOW" name from 2012 and offer a new status quo and fresh jumping-on point for readers.

Each day, Marvel is unveiling a new teaser illustrated by Mike Deodato, Jr. and featuring two heroes with the tagline "Divided...". It seems that just as the original Civil War led to an ongoing rift between Marvel's heroes, the impact of this war will continue to be felt moving into 2017. Scroll down to check out these teasers, and keep checking back as we update with new images as they're released.

Halo 5 Gets Grunt Mech in Next Update

Both the good guys and the bad guys are getting new rides in Halo 5: Guardians.

As part of 343 Industries' Warzone Firefight update, the developer is introducing the Grunt Goblin and the AV-49 Wasp. The Grunt Goblin is the first enemy unit to be built exclusively for Warzone and Warzone Firefight—and it can be "fielded as either a Legendary or Mythic boss," character designer Steve Dyck told Polygon.

Game of Thrones’ Tormund Actor Joins Justice League

One of the many things I learned on the set of Justice League last Friday was that Game of Thrones' Kristofer Hivju has joined the cast of the DC movie in a small role.

The red-haired, Norwegian actor -- best known as wildling warrior (and Brienne of Tarth's not-so-secret admirer) Tormund Giantsbane -- appeared in concept art on the wall of the production office as a character labeled an ancient Atlantean king,

Some SPOILERS for the Justice League movie follow.
