Star Wars Battlefront May Get Offline Instant Action Mode

Star Wars Battlefront may be getting a much-requested feature, offline Instant Action.

The offline mode was uncovered by Reddit user uninspired_zebra, who posted their findings to both a Reddit thread and a YouTube video, which you can watch below:

As you can see, the video showcases hidden menus that allow players to play Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron offline in a solo session or with a friend.

Although the YouTube video does look convincing, it's important to note that offline Instant Action has yet to be confirmed by EA, so take this news with a grain of salt. We've reached out to the publisher for comment and will update if we hear anything back.

First Poster for the Power Rangers Movie Revealed

Lionsgate has released the first movie poster for its upcoming Power Rangers film.

The image shows silhouettes of the teenage cast, with the phrase "together we are more" hovering over a lightning bolt–shaped cluster of stars. The Power Rangers appear to be in their street clothes and not their shiny new suits.

Inafune: ‘I Own All the Problems’ With Mighty No. 9

Game designer Keiji Inafune has spoken about the reaction to Mighty No. 9, but what everyone thought he said isn't actually the reality.

During a live stream yesterday, there was some confusion when Inafune appeared to say the release of Mighty No. 9 is "better than nothing." However, it has now come to light he said nothing of the sort.

According to Kotaku, former Capcom employee Ben Judd was translating on the stream, and adds his own commentary as well as the translation. The "better than nothing" line was added by Judd.

Darth Vader Confirmed to Appear in Rogue One

After some ominous breaths at the end of the first trailer and some leaked artwork gave us a hint, it's been officially confirmed that Darth Vader will return as a villain in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Revealed on the next Entertainment Weekly cover, it's not clear who will be inside the suit (presumably the voice will still be James Earl Jones') but we do know he'll be an antagonist to more than just the crew of Rebel fighters trying to steal the Death Star plans.

PlayStation Neo Won’t Shorten PS4’s Lifecycle

Sony's PlayStation Neo won't affect the PlayStation 4's life cycle, Shuhei Yoshida, president of worldwide studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment, said.

The PlayStation 4 is the PlayStation 4, Yoshida added—and the "new high-end PS4 is still PS4, so the life cycle is not going to be shorter." His statements echo what Sony Interactive Entertainment president Andrew House said about the PlayStation Neo "sit

alongside and complement

the standard PS4."

In an interview with German website Gamewelt.TV, Yoshida declined to comment on the console's details. When the studio is ready, he'll have information to share.

Shovel Knight Is Getting 2 More Free Campaigns

Yacht Club Games currently has two more campaigns in development, and they'll be released for free.

Last year the first free campaign, Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, was released. The studio is now working on campaigns for Specter Knight and King Knight too. Specter Knight will be coming first, although the team is working on all upcoming content simultaneously.

Specter Knight's new abilities include a slashing attack, which can also be activated in mid-air for a "Dash Slash." He also has a wall climb, however he can only climb a set distance before falling down again, so you'll need to use abilities in combination to reach new heights.

A History of Spider-Man’s Clone Troubles

For Spider-Man, "clone" is practically a four-letter word. Clones have been the source of no small amount of misery for the wallcrawler, especially during the massive "Clone Saga" crossover of the mid-'90s. Now we know that Peter Parker is facing a whole new round of clone woes, as Marvel has revealed that the mysterious "Dead No More" storyline (now titled "The Clone Conspiracy") will once again pit Spidey against the Jackal and his mad science experiments.

With this major conflict in the works, we figured now would be a good time to look back at Spider-Man's long, painful history with clones and why The Clone Conspiracy promises to be such a significant new addition to the Spidey mythos.
