Nintendo and Vans Team Up for Sweet Kicks
Nintendo and Vans are collaborating on a line of video game–inspired sneakers. The shoes, which are influenced by the game company's 8-bit creations, will reportedly be available in June.
This is according to European sneaker retailer 43 Einhalb, which has the line listed with a June release. And it's not only sneakers—Vans will release Nintendo-inspired sandals and T-shirts as well. "From the beginning, this process has been co-opted by a special interest group."
