Star Wars Fan Builds a Rebel Blaster Out of LEGO

Someone went and made a life-sized Rebel Alliance blaster out of LEGO.

A LEGO aficionado who goes by the name Nick Brick recreated the DH-17 blaster using the DICE developed shooter Star Wars Battlefront for reference. The Battlefield blasters were based on scans of props from the original Star Wars trilogy.

Despite being made from the stiff plastic pieces the model even has a working trigger. It's also just the latest concoction from Nick Brick, whose previous work includes the gun's Imperial counterpart: the E-11 Blaster Rifle.

Now You See Me 3 Is Happening

Now You See Me 3 is in the works, and Jon M. Chu is on board to direct again.

The first film was directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), but Chu took over the role for the sequel, which is due for release on June 10. And according to Variety, Chu has now struck a deal with Lionsgate to take the helm of the third film in the series.

Now You See Me 3 has reportedly been in the works since May of 2015, Variety reports. However, this is the first time we've received any firm details.

Previously, Chu has worked on the likes of Step Up 2: The Streets, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

My Hero Academia Episode 3: “Roaring Muscles” Review

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Up until this point, My Hero Academia has kept me captivated by its unconventional take on the superhero formula. In its third episode "Roaring Muscles," however, Izuku's pursuit of becoming a hero takes an unexpected turn that undermines the idea that even those without incredible power can achieve great things.

At the start of the episode, Izuku's heroic idol All Might reveals the origins of his mysterious superhuman strength, which was passed on to him "like a sacred torch." All Might inherited the power to transfer power, an ability called "One For All," and in order for Izuku to receive it, he must train his body to become a physically-fit vessel that is capable of bearing this new Quirk.

All 17 Canonical Stormtrooper Designs

It could be argued Star Wars' Stormtroopers are the most recognizable army on Earth.

This, in spite of the fact they don't actually exist outside the rich fiction of the Star Wars universe. But their stark white armor and now-iconic helmets make the Star Wars Stormtrooper stand out more than any other army, real or fictional.

Stormtroopers in the Empire are an evolution of the Republic clone troopers. Created as perfect copies of Jango Fett, clone troopers carried out the orders of the Republic, and later, the Empire. Due to their rapid age advancement, clone troopers were eventually phased out and replaced with Imperial Stormtroopers. Unlike the clones before them, the Empire's Stormtrooper members were recruited from around the galaxy and subjected to a brutal training and indoctrination process.

Agents of SHIELD: It’s Secret Warriors Time!

It’s been a long buildup, but this week’s new Agents of SHIELD, "The Team," will finally see Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) gathering the Secret Warriors for their first true mission together, as she calls upon the superpowered group to help rescue her fellow SHIELD agents.

Insomniac Developing Two More VR Games

Insomniac Games is embracing virtual reality. The developer announced two additional VR games, bringing the total up to three.

Feral Rites and The Unspoken are Oculus Rift titles, and will both be playable at this year's E3. Feral Rites is a "VR adventure-brawler" set on an island with mystical jungles and temples to explore. Playing as a fighter who can "transform into a feral beast," you're on a mission to avenge the death of your father. Feral Rites is expected to release in Q3 2016.

The Unspoken, "an Oculus Touch-enable VR action game," gives you magical powers to "summon ghastly monstrosities" and "manipulate the environment." Your powers will be key in ranking up in an "urban magic fight club." The Unspoken is slated for a November 2016 release.

Ubisoft May Punish The Division Players for Using Exploit

Ubisoft is "looking into" punishing players who exploited Tom Clancy's The Division Falcon Lost Incursion glitch.

Ubisoft community manager Natchai Strappers posted to the Ubisoft forums on Friday, and said developers are "working on fixing the exploit." Strappers directed players to Ubisoft's Code of Conduct, which warns players against cheating.

The glitch—which was introduced with the Incursion in The Division's April update—allows players to bypass powerful enemies by pushing through a wall to grab a whole bunch of high-level loot. It also causes the game to fail to recognise that you've grabbed said loot, meaning the game's once-per-week limit on claiming it isn't enforced, letting exploit users progress far faster than would usually be possible.
