PES 2016 Has Just Created a World First
Pro Evolution Soccer is creating a world first for its UEFA Euro 2016 edition - in honour of cover star Gareth Bale, Konami's providing fans with what to our mind is the only official Welsh-language video game box art.
With a physical edition of the Euro-themed PES 2016 out today, Konami's cover design can be printed out and slotted into your game box to give it a certain sai’n gwybod be’ (that's "je ne sais quoi" in Welsh).

Apple’s Electric Car Talks With BMW and Daimler Break Down
Apple’s negotiations with BMW and Daimler to work on the electric car known as Project Titan have now completely fallen apart, according to a new report.
German news site Handelsblatt, citing industry sources, says talks with BMW ended sometime last year, while Daimler and Apple only recently ceased their discussions.
The main issues the three companies faced dealt with which company was going to lead the project, and which would have total ownership over any user data obtained. Apple wanted to use its own iCloud service, while the two German carmakers wanted to oversee things themselves, as both had plans to make customer data protection “a key element of their future strategy.”
Blade Runner 2 Release Moved Up to 2017
Blade Runner 2's release date has been moved up to October 6, 2017. The sci-fi sequel was previously scheduled to hit theaters January 12, 2018.
The new release date puts it up against an untitled Marvel film and an unnamed Warner Bros. "event film," should their release dates stick.
As Variety reports, Blade Runner 2 is currently in pre-production, with filming expected to begin in July. Harrison Ford will return as replicant-hunter Rick Deckard. Other cast members include Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, and Dave Bautista.
No Terminator Sequels for Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke has definitively said she won't be playing Sarah Connor again in the future.
Talking to ComingSoon about the possibility of appearing in another Terminator sequel, Clarke simply responded "No... Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”
Emilia Clarke will be leaving the role of Sarah Connor behind and starring in Me Before You, a romantic film based on the novel of the same name. We'll also be seeing Clarke on our television screens very soon with the premiere of Season 6 of Game of Thrones just around the corner.
Hearthstone: Game-Changing Card Nerfs Announced
Blizzard today announced the cards that will be changing in time for the next Hearthstone expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods, which releases on April 26 in North America and April 27 in Europe, Asia and Australia. (See all the cards that have been revealed so far here.)
12 cards from the classic and basic sets have had their power levels adjusted, and these are largely in line with community expectations. The Force of Nature and Savage Roar combo, for instance, which has long been the backbone of every mid-range Druid deck, is now no longer capable of doing 14 damage from an empty board. Big Game Hunter, also, has been adjusted. Its effect is the same, but at a much higher cost.

Maisie Williams Makes Fans Recreate GoT Scenes for Free Swag
Maisie Williams, internet hero.
The star of Game of Thrones teamed up with Nylon when they were planning her May cover issue to try to pull a prank on unsuspecting fans. While they didn't trick too many people with a case of mistaken identity, they did create something pretty hilarious in the process.
Basically Williams is pretending to be a British girl named Lorraine who works the counter at a hobby shop that is giving away free Game of Thrones swag. Pretty much everyone who came in figured out immediately that Williams plays Arya on the show, but that's only when things were beginning to get good.
Netflix Open to Downloadable Content for Offline Viewing
Netflix is open to the idea of letting people download their content for the purposes of watching it offline.
As reported by Variety, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings suggested the company is considering the idea during an earnings call earlier this week, saying they should “keep an open mind on this.”
Last year, Netflix was against offering users offline viewing capabilities, but has since noticed “an uneven set of networks” as it expands to other countries. Not every country has the same network setup as the U.S., which poses a problem for the streaming service if it wants to bring in more people. Currently, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube offer offline viewing, but only for some video content.
Avengers: Infinity War Screenwriters’ on Handling Thanos
The biggest challenge in including Thanos in Marvel's The Avengers: Infinity War is living up to fan expectation, writer Christopher Markus said.
Out of the 67 characters already introduced in the Marvel cinematic universe, Thanos has only had about 20 seconds of screen time.
"He hasn't had an amazing scene. I think it's an advantage ultimately, right?" writer Stephen McFeely told The Huffington Post. "Because people are anticipating this guy coming in and really delivering the goods."
