Superhot Xbox One Release Date Revealed

Superhot's release date for Xbox One has been confirmed as May 3.

The time-bending FPS came out for PC earlier this year, and is an Xbox One console exclusive.

Superhot began as a game jam prototype (which you can still play for free), and then went through a successful Kickstarter campaign to become a fully-fledged project.

The core conceit of the game is that time moves only when you move, and one-hit kills work both ways, forcing you think about how to escape a series of seemingly impossibly fatal shootouts.

iPhone Sales Fall For First Time in Thirteen Years

UPDATE: Our original story stated that iPhones sales have fallen for the first time since 2003. This is incorrect, and has now been amended below.

Apple has reported an almost 13 percent drop in quarterly sales -- the first decline in revenue in thirteen years -- and confirmed iPhone sales have fallen for the first time.

In its quarterly sales statement (via The Guardian), Apple also confirmed iPad and Mac sales have also stalled compared with the same period last year -- 12.6m to 10.3m and 4.6m to 4m respectively -- contributing to an overall revenue fall from $58 billion to $50.6 billion.

Wolverine 3 Casts Richard E. Grant as Mad Scientist

It looks as though Richard E. Grant is going to be playing a villainous character in Wolverine 3.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grant will be playing a mad scientist, although aspects of the story are being kept under wraps for now.

Super Mario Maker Gets a Healthy Dose of Heavy Metal J-pop

In arguably the greatest crossover ever conceived, Super Mario Maker is getting a Babymetal costume.

For those unfamiliar with Babymetal, they’re kind of a cross between Marilyn Manson and the Spice Girls – a fusion of Heavy Metal and J-pop wrapped in a theatrical Gothic Lolita packaging.

Here’s a video of their hit single Karate. You’re going to love them, I’m sure.

The downloadable costume features all three singers – Suzuka Nakamoto as Su-metal, Yui Mizuno as Yuimetal, and Moa Kikuchi as Moametal – in one playable sprite. They even say things every time they jump.

Criminal Investigation Launched After Stolen Copies of Uncharted 4 Appear Online

A criminal investigation has been launched in relation to a number of stolen copies of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in the UK.

Writing via the PlayStation Blog, Sony President Shuhei Yoshida explains an undisclosed number of copies were stolen while in transit, and that Sony is working with the police to resolve the matter.

Yoshida goes on to point out that fans need to be extra vigilant when it comes to looking at Uncharted 4 details online in the coming weeks. Now some players have access to the game ahead of the May 10 release date, you can expect some jerks are itching to post spoilers everywhere.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Could Include a Modern Warfare Remaster

And the leak keeps dripping. After a possible reveal by next week, and the title appearing on PSN, a new leak suggests that a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare "Legacy Edition" will include a remastered version of the original Modern Warfare game.

Over 10 Million of Us Have Signed up to Miitomo Worldwide

Over 10 million unique users worldwide have signed up for Miitomo.

The news comes via the company’s latest financial results, and was shared via the company's official twitter account.

To date, users have shared 20 million Miifotos, and sparked more than 300 million conversations. To celebrate, Nintendo will host a 10-day “Celebrating 10 Million Users!” event between April 29 and May 8, 2016.
