New Spelunky World Record Beats the Game in 100 Seconds
Spelunky’s new world record is 1:40.145 by speedrunner d_tea.
The record is thanks to a lucky teleporter found at random in a crate in the game’s first level. Just a few levels later, d_tea also finds a jetpack and a compass (as well as a second teleporter), allowing him to navigate to the exit even faster and securing the record.
You can watch the world record run below:
The run beats the previous world record of 1:41.499 by runner SpelunkyGod and means that d_tea now holds three Spelunky world records in the game’s four major categories, including the Hell world record of 3:44.411. The current high score world record, $3404400, is held by speedrunner Kinnijup.

Here's what we didn't like so much - swipe right for images and impressions:
So, while we liked the scale, pose and some of the sculpting details, there are some very obvious, unfortunate flaws and the paint is a let down.
The statue is already available but Star Fox Zero, is releasing April 21st. We recently did a visual comparison of the Wii U game compared to the Nintendo 64 and GameCube, and uploaded 3 minutes of Retro Arwing gameplay.

Star Wars: Rogue One Previewed At Disney Shareholders Meeting
Disney shareholders were given a sneak preview of the upcoming standalone film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
According to Slash Film, a sizzle reel and images of new Stormtroopers and characters played by Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, and Donnie Yen were shown at The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholder meeting in Chicago.
Speaking at the meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger said, "It’s our first original standalone Star Wars story. It’s about a band of rebels who are plotting to steal the plans for the Death Star." Explaining to the shareholders the film is set "right before the events in the very first Star Wars movie," Iger told the crowd "I can’t wait for you to see it; it’s in theaters this December."
7 Changes We Want in Pokemon Sun and Moon
Twenty years and six generations later, the core Pokemon games on handheld systems have remained largely the same. You’re a young child seeking to become the best there ever was, catching them all and training a team that can beat the Champion. While there have been a good number of additions and improvements to the franchise, there are plenty more features that have gone mostly untouched for far too long.
Below are 7 things we’d love to see changed for Pokemon Sun and Moon.
We’ve never had the option to play through Pokemon games again without having to delete our beloved save files. If you’ve caught every pokemon on the Regional Pokedex, or if you’re a monster and got ‘em all on the National, you jeopardise that hard work. There are also key item rewards you can't trade or otherwise save, like the Shiny Charm (which is a rare Pokemon collector’s dream).
Jump Street/MiB Crossover Moves Forward
Following prior reports of Sony's plans to merge the popular 21 Jump Street and Men in Black franchises in a new crossover film, it appears the studio is moving forward on the project.
According to Variety, sources have told the outlet that James Bobin (The Muppets) is currently in talks to direct the movie, replacing Phil Lord and Chris Miller—the directors of 21 Jump Street and its sequel—who are busy preparing to helm the Han Solo standalone film.
7 Amazing Vive Games You Can Watch Right Now
IGN has an HTC Vive Pre, and we've been loving some especially interesting, innovative, funny, and new games on Valve's VR headset. Previously we previewed 12 of the best. Here, you can watch a ton of gameplay footage, including the Portal 2 and Dota 2 VR demos, a spy thriller with throwing knives called Budget Cuts, and other silly, simple-yet-satisfying games that genuinely changed our thinking about the future of how games will be made. Enjoy.
Valve's hysterical Portal 2 "Aperture Science Robot Repair" demo has already sold a ton of IGN Editors on what makes VR special. Plus, it's just a charming and wonderful way to return to this world.
Children’s Hospital Ending This Season
Children's Hospital will end after Season 7 concludes, according to creator and star Rob Corddry
Corddry told Vulture that he hadn't started the current season intending to make it the final one, but the idea germinated and became final over the course of it.
Merchandise Sales Settle Whether Batman is Better Than Superman
According to a new Google Survey, 65% of people prefer Batman over Superman.
The survey, conducted by online retailer Zulily offers several other interesting insights. Though The Last Son of Krypton loses out to The Dark Knight, Supergirl merchandise is still more popular than Batgirl merchandise.
On that note, the same survey also indicated that a whopping 78% of participants, about half of all women and a third of all men, feel there aren't enough toys for female superheroes. Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams certainly felt that was the case too.
