SHIELD’s Fitz and Simmons Have Earned Their Romantic “Moment of Calm”
Full spoilers for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD continue below.
Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is going to be doing some serious SHIELD field training in the coming weeks. After several traumatic incidents in the past few seasons, Henstridge said her character is going to be taking great lengths to make sure she is capable of taking care of herself.
"It's a recurring theme for her that she needs a man to save her. On the planet, she only got back because Will sacrificed himself for her," Henstridge reflected during a recent visit to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's set. "She let
out because she wanted to save herself, and she didn't know how she was going to do it. She knows she doesn't have the combat skills to be able to take on all those Hydra soldiers. Selfishly, in hindsight, she sacrificed all of those Inhuman lives to save her own. She's just done with not being able to look after herself in that way."
New Clip of Captain America: Civil War Spotted
The Russo Brothers have posted a behind-the-scenes video on Facebook that includes a new clip of Captain America: Civil War playing in the background.
The clip features The Avengers being told that they are no longer a private organisation, and will be supervised by a United Nations panel - likely the point at which the film's "Cap vs. Iron Man" plotline truly kicks in. It mirrors a similar scene in the source comic series in which the group are told they must reveal their true identities.
The wider clip shows the sound mixing process for the film, featuring Joe Russo introducing the various crew members involved.

What to Expect in The Americans: Season 4, Debuting Tonight
One of the best shows on TV, FX's The Americans returns for Season 4 Wednesday night, following a busy third season where some huge developments occurred, including Paige finally learning the truth about Philip and Elizabeth’s identities (and then telling Pastor Tim those secrets), and Martha also discovering that her beloved Clark wasn’t who he appeared to be.
I spoke to The Americans executive producer Joel Fields (who serves as showrunner alongside series creator Joe Weisberg) about what’s to come this season, the introduction of bio-weapons into the storyline, innocent lives lost in the Jennings’ missions and more.
IGN: Last year, you went big with both Paige and Martha finding out as much as they did. Did you know going into the year both those events would occur somewhat close to one another?
