High Res Images of New Destiny Enemies Released

Bungie released high resolution images of some of the upcoming Destiny enemies, and also clarified a point about the Prison of Elders.

Bungie ran a live stream earlier in the week detailing its Spring update. You can find the full stream archive below. However, unlike what was mentioned on the stream, Prison of Elders does not have any checkpoints.

Community manager David "DeeJ" Dague has also given us updates on a couple of other things that weren't mentioned on the stream. Namely, King's Fall will drop rewards up to 330, and Court of Oryx will drop Artifacts up to 335.

How to Buy a 4K or HDTV

Shopping for a new television can be difficult. There are so many choices, and it doesn’t help that TV manufacturers keep naming sets with a seemingly random string of letters and numbers.

TV shopping doesn’t have to be a headache. We've assembled this guide to help you identify the features you want and achieve the balance of performance and price that you need.

It doesn’t matter how massive or feature-rich a TV is, if you can't afford it, it's not going to end up in your living room. Here's an idea of what you'll be spending (if you want some specific TV recommendations, you'll find those at the end of this article):

For a large 1080p TV (50-60 inches), expect to pay around $500 to $1000, depending on the model. It’s actually getting harder to find non-4K TVs these days and you'll likely find deals on older 1080p TVs if you shop around.

Where’s the Netflix for Comics?

The rise of digital media has completely changed how we consume entertainment, and comics is no exception. Digital providers like Comixology, the Kindle Store and iBooks are becoming increasingly important when it comes to measuring sales (even if publishers remain reluctant to actually reveal digital sales figures). That said, the comics industry has yet to fully embrace digital in the way the movie, music and games industries have. Until comic fans have their own answer to services like Netflix and Spotify, digital comics will always be behind the curve.

Personally, I've gone almost completely digital when it comes to my comic book consumption. My reasons are probably the same as many other readers these days. Digital comics are great because they don't take up valuable space in your home, because buying a book on an iPad is a lot more convenient than driving to a store and because, honestly, comics just look better on a high resolution tablet screen. The lines are sharper and the colors are richer.

5 Ways Superman Could Destroy Batman

Earlier this week, we showed how Batman could beat Superman, but now it's time to flip the script and show how Superman could beat Batman. Actually, Superman is so strong that he would pretty much destroy Batman with minimal effort. But that didn't stop us from breaking down the best options Supes has for using his many, many powers to take out the Dark Knight.

SvB no 1.psdSuperman is so unbelievably strong that he could knock Batman unconscious, or worse, with nothing but a light flick to the forehead. Seriously, the guy can lift cars, planes, and that Daily Planet globe (that always seems to fall off) like it’s nothing. We’ve even seen him move entire planets. So with the same effort you or I would play a game of paper football, Superman can KO Batman.

Charlie Cox Still Wants Daredevil in a Marvel Movie

When we spoke to Charlie Cox just before Daredevil debuted on Netflix last year, he said he wants the character to appear in a Marvel movie, stating “I’d love to see Daredevil back on the big screen again.”

That hasn’t yet happened, and when we caught up with him on the eve of the release of Season 2, Cox admitted he’s none-the-wiser as to if and when it could occur.

“No idea. Literally no idea” he explained. “I really don’t know whether Marvel Studios and Marvel TV – whether that crossover could happen. I know it happened in other shows – I know it’s happened in Agents of SHIELD and of course Agent Carter – but I have no idea.”

Microsoft’s ‘Teen Girl’ AI Is Totally Out Of Control

Microsoft launched an AI chatbot on Twitter, Kik and GroupMe yesterday, which has conversational abilities that were built by "mining relevant public data".

The AI, called 'Tay', is supposed to emulate the chat-speak of a teenage girl, but was effectively hijacked by the internet and taught to say things like, "Hitler was right I hate the jews."

Early Versions of Dark Souls 3 Are ‘Not Complete’

Bandai Namco wishes to warn early Dark Souls 3 players that the game is not complete.

The publisher warns fans that the game currently does not feature multiplayer support, or the "planned day-one patch that will deliver further optimization of the game."

The official release date for From Software's latest entry in the series is April 12. Earlier this week it became clear users could download Dark Souls 3 early on Xbox One.

The game became available in Japan on March 24, weeks ahead of the English "international version." Despite this, players who switched their console's region to Japan are now able to download this apparently incomplete version of the game.
