Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Closed Beta Sign Ups Are Open

If you’re interested in trying Mirror’s Edge Catalyst before it launches in May, you can sign up for the closed beta now.

The game’s official site offers the choice of PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and you simply need to sign into your EA account to register.

It should be noted that registration does not guarantee access to the closed beta whenever it launches. EA also points out any gameplay or character progress in the beta will not carry over into the final version of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.

A launch date for the closed beta has not been revealed at this time.

In addition to the beta sign ups, EA has released a new story trailer detailing some of the drama in store for Faith in Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

Funko Announces Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Mopeez

Funko has announced that a line of Batman v Superman Mopeez will be coming out in March.

You'll soon be able to get Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman in cute, plushie from from the Funko website.

Funko also has a number of DC Pins available now, from heroes such as Batman and Robin, to villains like The Joker and The Penguin.

The Mopeez will be out just in time for the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is hitting theaters on March 26. If Mopeez aren't your thing, maybe you'll want to check out this Batman Barbie instead.

The Division Is Free When You Buy a Logitech Gaming Keyboard

Logitech just unveiled its latest and greatest gaming keyboard, the G810 Orion Spectrum, and we have the full review here. To sweeten the deal, the company is bundling Ubisoft’s The Division with three of its gaming keyboards starting February 8th in the US.

The three keyboards that come bundled with The Division include the all new G810 Orion Spectrum, the G910 Orion Spark, and the 10-keyless G410 Atlas Spectrum. All of these keyboards feature Logitech’s proprietary Romer-G mechanical switches and full RGB lighting.

10 Up-Close Photos of Zelda’s Wolf Link Amiibo

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is coming on March 4, and with it, Nintendo's Wolf Link amiibo.

Riding atop Wolf Link is Midna—the "mysterious and mischievous imp" who helps Link save the Twilight Realm and Hyrule.

The Wolf Link amiibo unlocks an optional challenge dungeon in which players must fight enemies as Link's legendary twilit form. Using the amiibo, players can record their best times in the Cave of Shadows and share it with friends.

All amiibo in the Zelda family work with Twilight Princess HD. For instance, the Link and Toon Link amiibo replenish your arrows, while Zelda and Sheik refill your hearts. Ganondorf, on the other hand, will double enemy damage.

Doom Release Date Announced by Bethesda

Bethesda revealed Doom's release date is May 13. It will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC simultaneously.

Bethesda also announced the release of a "premium collector's edition," as well as bonuses for players who pre-order the game.

The collector’s edition includes a 12-inch tall statue of the Revenant demon "modeled from actual in-game 3D files." The statue is mounted on an LED-lit base "with internal, slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars." The collector's edition also includes a copy of the game and comes in a "battle worthy metal case."

Friends Star Joins the Top Gear Line-up

Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc will be one of the new presenters of Top Gear.

The 48-year-old actor, known for his role as the dimwitted-but-loveable Joey Tribbiani, is the first non-British host in the show’s 39-year history.

"As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I'm honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter," said LeBlanc told the BBC. "What a thrill!"

Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 Bundle Coming in April

In celebration of Uncharted 4's launch this April, Sony will release a special Limited Edition PS4 console bundle themed around Naughty Dog's upcoming action game.

According to an announcement on PlayStation Blog, the bundle includes a 500GB Gray Blue PlayStation 4 that features "a silk-screened image of Nathan Drake," a matching controller and a disc-based copy of the game.

The console will be available in the United States and Canada on April 26 for $400 USD / $500 CAD. The bundle will also launch in Europe and the UK on April 27 and April 29, respectively. Those who pre-order the bundle will receive a bonus voucher that includes "an Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Outfit, Golden Weapon Skin, and Uncharted Points to use in Multiplayer Mode."

3 Prototype Maps Coming to Rocket League

Three new prototype maps will be joining a playlist called Rocket Labs in Rocket League this month.

According to Gamespot, the new maps will have "wildly different layouts" to the existing ones, and will have a "virtual reality-inspired aesthetic."

Utopia Retro is a circular map which harks back to the days of Rocket League's predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. Underpass has different elevations, opening up the door for more aerial maneuvers. Double Goal looks how it sounds; there are two different openings for the goals on each side of the map.

Comic Book Reviews for February 3, 2016

The comic industry rang in the month of February with several big releases. Miles Morales finally got his own ongoing series again as Marvel kicked off the adjective-less Spider-Man. Not to be outdone, Deadpool got another comic in the form of Deadpool and the Mercs for Money #1. Elsewhere, Dynamite relaunched their Dejah Thoris comic and Image began an important new chapter of The Walking Dead.
