Look at Keanu’s Oscar Parody Cat Posters Right Meow
Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key's Keanu has four new posters that riff on some Oscars favorites, namely The Revenant, The Big Short, The Martian, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Check them out in the slideshow below.
When Keanu (the little kitty) goes missing, Key and Peele, who play Clarence and Rell, must "infiltrate a a street gang" to get him back. Keanu, "the incredibly adorable kitten," is much too beloved, and unwittingly starts a gang war over his custody.
That's when Clarence and Rell "take the law into their own hands."
Keanu also stars Tiffany Haddish, Method Man, and Jason Mitchell. Directed by Peter Atencio and written by Peele and Alex Rubens, Keanu will debut in theaters April 29.
House of Cards: Season 5 Gets Two New Showrunners
House of Cards senior writers Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese have been promoted to showrunners, as the popular Netflix original series continues into its fifth season without creator and original showrunner Beau Willimon.
"I welcome Frank and Melissa in their new roles on House of Cards and look forward to collaborating with them and our creative team on Season 5," executive producer and series star Kevin Spacey said in a statement.
Gibson and Pugliese have been with the series since 2014, having joined House of Cards during its third season. "We and the rest of the House of Cards writers look forward to the next chapter of the reign of Underwood," the pair of new showrunners said.
Dragon Front Is Like Hearthstone Come to Life
I found myself wanting to play more of Dragon Front even after my 45 minute demo – despite the fact that I’m not a table-top or collectible card game player and the extent of my CCG experience is playing Pokemon in elementary school. I didn’t expect to get sucked into the Dragon Front, the world’s first VR collectible card game, but the immersion of the VR helmet proved too compelling.
Dragon Front transports players onto a 4 by 4 battlefield with beautiful environments and animated soldiers. Think of it as Yu-Gi-Oh come to life, but without the ridiculous hairdo. Your goal is to break through your enemy’s defenses and destroy their castle. The cards you play range from soldiers, spells, buffs, and even vehicles. For example, planes have the ability to shoot over enemies. Each person also gets a “hero” that requires a lot of mana to unlock before your can play him or her on the battlefield. It’s a turn based game, so there are some lulls in the action while you wait for your opponent. But there's also anticipation as you wait for your enemy to reveal what he or she has in store for you.
Fear the Walking Dead: Season 2 Teaser Trailer
Fear the Walking Dead is returning on April 10th, and IGN has your exclusive look at the new teaser for Season 2.
Season 1 ended with the characters on a boat, attempting to escape the walker-infested Los Angeles. As you can see in this teaser, there's plenty of use made of a new aquatic/beach setting that definitely sets Fear TWD apart from The Walking Dead's usual visuals, as the spinoff/prequel moves production to Mexico this year.
When it returns on April 10th, Fear the Walking Dead will be joined by new episodes of Talking Dead, which will now air every week after new Fear episodes.

The Hateful Tarantino Blasts Disney for Star Wars ‘Extortion’
The Hateful Eight director Quentin Tarantino has some choice words for Disney two months after the Los Angeles Cinemarama Dome chose to extend Star Wars: The Force Awakens' run rather than showing The Hateful Eight, which the filmmaker claims broke an existing agreement he had with the theater.
According to NYDailyNews.com, when asked at the Costume Designers Guild Awards whether he and the House of Mouse have made peace, Tarantino replied “No, they f---ed me over,” and that he would "never work (with Disney) in any way, shape or form after what they did to me.”
This Batman v Superman Toy Looks Incredible
Square Enix has released new photos of its Play Arts Kai Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Armored Batman figure. Check them out in the slideshow below.
A prototype of the figure was displayed at New York Toy Fair earlier this month—along with armored figures from other companies, like Kotobukiya and DC Collectibles. Square Enix's figure in particular stands just around 10 inches tall, and comes with a plastic cape, gun, figure stand, and a few interchangeable hands.
Play Arts Kai Armored Batman is expected to release in July. According to Toy Ark, it'll cost about $150 USD.
10 Best Pokemon BREAKpoint Cards
With the Pokémon TCG: XY—BREAKpoint set becoming legal for tournament play this week, we have a list of the set’s 10 best cards that you should get your hands on.
To help us select the cream of the crop, competitive Pokemon player Simon Narode will be lending his expertise. He's placed high in numerous big tournaments, peaking with a 2nd place finish at the 2013 World Championship, not to mention finishing 7th in 2015.
The previous set, BREAKthrough, introduced the new Pokemon BREAK card type, but ironically none of the them were fit for competitive use. This set changes that, giving us a couple that are definitely going to see some play.
It should be noted that while some of the set’s reprints (Max Potion, Professor Sycamore) and modified reprints (Garbodor) are stellar cards, we’re only considering brand new cards for this list.
Khan Director Joins New Star Trek Show
CBS’ new Star Trek show has added an Enterprise veteran to the team. Nicholas Meyer, best known to fans as the director of what is widely regarded as the greatest Star Trek film, The Wrath of Khan, has joined the series as a consulting producer and writer.
Meyer will take his place next to executive-producers Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman on the CBS Television Studios show. The new Star Trek series will premiere on CBS in early 2017, with subsequent episodes streaming on the CBS All Access service.
"Nicholas Meyer chased Kirk and Khan 'round the Mutara Nebula and 'round Genesis' flames, he saved the whales with the Enterprise and its crew, and waged war and peace between Klingons and the Federation. We are thrilled to announce that one of Star Trek's greatest storytellers will be boldly returning as Nicholas Meyer beams aboard the new Trek writing staff," said Fuller in a press release.
Weak 3DS Sales Mean Even Lower Nintendo Profit Projections
Nintendo has adjusted its profit expectations and 3DS sales figures for this fiscal year, and not for the better.
The games company lowered its projected profit 50 percent for the 12-month period ending this March from ¥35 billion to ¥17 billion ($151 million USD). The Wall Street Journal reports this is due to weakening 3DS sales, as well as the strength of the Japanese yen.
While Nintendo is itself a Japanese company much of its holdings are in Euros and U.S. dollars. So when the Japanese currency grows, their offshore accounts shrink in comparison.
Previously, Nintendo projected 3DS sales to hit 7.7 million units. That's now down to 6.7 million, dragging predicted software sales with it to 47 million (down from 56 million). This is in spite of recent upticks in both Wii U and 3DS sales over their respective, previous quarters.
