Marvel Teases a Superhero Resurrection

Marvel has released a rather cryptic new teaser image that hints towards a major comic book development in the months ahead. We don't know what characters or franchises are involved, but it appears that a major Marvel character (or more than one character) will be returning to life soon.

Check out the teaser below:

DEAD_NO_MORE

So what does this mean? The most obvious possibility is that Marvel will finally be resurrecting Jean Grey. Jean died 12 years ago in New X-Men #150, and not counting the presence of her younger self in All-New X-Men has stayed dead ever since. Given how prominent a role Jean is playing in this summer's X-Men: Apocalypse, now may be the right time to finally bring her back into play.
