The 2016 Oscar Nominations Are…
Nominations for the 88th Academy Awards have been announced, and The Revenant leads the way with 12 nods, including Picture, Director (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Supporting Actor (Tom Hardy).
Mad Max: Fury Road isn't far behind on ten however, with the action epic deservedly getting Picture and Director nominations.
Elsewhere The Martian receives seven nods, Bridge of Spies six, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens five.
As for snubs, Straight Outta Compton is nominated for Screenplay but not Picture, as is Carol, while Aaron Sorkin and Quentin Tarantino don't even get a screenplay nod. And perhaps most surprisingly, Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott miss out in the Director category.

Five Nights at Freddy’s World Gets a Release Date
RPG spinoff Five Nights at Freddy’s World is coming to PC on February 19.
The release date comes via the FNaF 4 Steam page, where developer Scott Cawthon posted an update explaining what’s going on.
“First of all, I apologize for the lack of updates on the websites,” says Cawthon.
“My old faithful computer (which I used to make FNaF 1-4) finally died the other day. I had all of my work on FNaF World backed up, of course, but it's still quite a delay to get a new machine and reconfigure software, etc. I hope to be back up and running soon! “
Cawthon notes the Android and iOS versions of FNaF World should be arriving in the weeks that follow the initial PC launch. The downloadable demo of FNaF World, which was originally planned to release Halloween 2015, will be made available through GameJolt.

A New Enemy Emerges in Extraordinary X-Men #5
The latest issue of Extraordinary X-Men threw yet another swerve at readers today.
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Extraordinary X-Men #5!
The previous issue ended with the reveal that Mister Sinister had resurrected Cyclops and turned the first X-Man into a horrific hybrid of mutant and Inhuman. But as the X-Men quickly discovered in this issue, the enemy they faced wasn't the real Cyclops, but merely a clone. Given Sinister's history of genetic tinkering, we probably should have seen that coming.
