Grant Gustin on Whether Zoom is Earth 2’s “Evil Barry”

After taking a break for the holidays, The Flash is back with new episodes, beginning this coming Tuesday!

I visited the Vancouver set of The Flash a few weeks back and spoke to the show’s star, Grant Gustin, about what’s next, now that Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) has arrived, Zoom’s threat continues to grow and Barry continues to adjust to having a different Harrison Wells in STAR Labs.

IGN: Can you talk about Wally West’s arrival and what that might mean for Barry? Obviously, because of the comics, what Wally represents is a big deal.

Gustin: As far as Barry’s connection to it, I think Barry this year is more of a support system for a lot of people, where last year it was always his emotional journey and everyone trying to be his support system. In a lot of ways, Barry is doing that for Joe this year and he’s doing that for Iris. You’ll see more of that as the season continues. Obviously there’s a little bit of… Not jealousy, but Joe has always been a father figure to Barry and Barry knows that he has always wanted a real son. Now that he does have one and he’s in the picture, there’s some weirdness. We’re not going to see Barry and Wally interact a lot immediately but Barry is trying to be supportive and be there for them. It’s his family.

Legion of Super-Heroes ‘Hint’ Coming to a DC Comics TV Show

We could be getting a not-so-subtle nod to DC's Legion of Super-Heroes on TV.

After a panel at the Television Critics Association press tour, TV Line reports DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns teased a hint that will be seen in an upcoming episode of one of DC's current television shows.

“You’ll see a hint of the Legion on one of our shows," he said. “I love the Legion. They’re underused and hopefully we’ll get them out there soon.”

Johns has ties to the Legion, having written some of the characters into a past Smallville episode. However, he did not specify which show would be hiding the hint, or when it would arrive.

People with PCs that are running either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 have probably dealt with the seemingly endless prompts to upgrade to Windows 10.

Those wanting to opt-out of the upgrade were once given the option to do so, but in the six months since the operating system's release, we've learned that its installation files have been forced onto some people, and others are simply unable to ignore the upgrade any longer.

The 100: Eliza Taylor on Clarke’s Reunion with Lexa in Season 3

The 100, IGN's recent winner as Best Sci-Fi Series for the second year in a row, returns for Season 3 in just one week and I’ll have plenty of content leading up to the show’s long-awaited return.

In November, I visited the Vancouver set of The 100: Season 3 and spoke to several cast members about what to expect this year, as the series delivers 16 new episodes. I’ll be rolling out those interviews in the next week, beginning today with Clarke Griffin herself, Eliza Taylor.

Taking a break in a trailer on The 100’s set -- while filming some big scenes involving events I can’t discuss yet -- The 100 star chatted about where Clarke is at when Season 3 begins, some of the new characters we’ll be meeting and Clarke’s big reunion with Lexa, after everything that occurred in Season 2.

Poe Dameron Ongoing Marvel Comic Series Announced

The best pilot in the galaxy will soon be getting his very own ongoing comic series.

Marvel announced today (via USA Today) that a series based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Poe Dameron will be releasing in April, with Lando writer Charles Soule and Chewbacca artist Phil Noto at the project's helm.

In the comic, Soule and Noto plan on exploring more of who Poe is as a character, visiting locations new and old, being pals with BB-8, and introducing some of the new X-Wing pilots in greater depth. The series will cover the events in Poe's life leading up to his appearance in the opening scenes of The Force Awakens, and according to Soule, Poe will be a great audience surrogate through which we can learn more about the galaxy as it's seen in Episode VII.
