FOX's in-development project Hellfire is going back to square one. The X-Men universe-set series has lost its showrunners and writers to the network's recently greenlit 24: Legacy.
Co-creators Evan Katz and Manny Coto and writers Patrick McKay and John D. Payne are all attached to the Jack Bauer-less return to the world of 24. FOX Co-Chairman and CEO Gary Newman confirmed their departure from Hellfire to IGN following The Hollywood Reporter breaking the news.

The Flash: Killer Frost and Deathstorm Photos
Ahead of The Flash's return to The CW next week, a batch of new photos showcasing Killer Frost and Deathstorm have been revealed.
The pair of villains, who serve as the Earth-2 versions of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), will be appearing in an upcoming episode titled "Welcome to Earth-2." Get a sneak peek at the two, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, below.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke to the interesting encounters that await the cast when they meet their Earth-2 counterparts. "Some of these people are beyond different," he told EW, noting that Wells (Tom Cavanagh) "seems so different until you start seeing the crazy differences between all of our other cast members. Then he’s the one who doesn’t seem quite so different and crazy anymore."
Neil Patrick Harris Starring in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events
How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris is in talks to star in Netflix's rendition of A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Harris would lead as the evil Count Olaf. The show is being produced by Paramount Television in collaboration with Netflix, and will head straight-to-series on the streaming service.
Daniel Handler, author of the series of books (under the pen name Lemony Snicket) that inspired the series, is executive producer of the series. Handler's story follows three orphaned kids, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire as they discover the peculiar circumstances of their parent's death.
Big Bang Theory Producer’s Pot Dispensary Comedy
The Big Bang Theory writer/producer Chuck Lorre is shopping a script for a multi-camera comedy set at a legal marijuana dispensary.
According to Deadline, the potential comedy series focuses on a group of potheads working at a dispensary in Colorado. "As someone put it, it’s The Big Bang Theory, if the guys were not geniuses but selling weed," reads the report.
The script, which was co-written by Lorre and former head writer of The Daily Show David Javerbaum, has been sent to broadcast networks and possibly Netflix.
As the report states, Lorre's four most recent multi-camera comedies -- Mom, Mike & Molly, The Big Bang Theory, and Two and a Half Men -- have all landed at CBS.
Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohen Will Co-Star in All Eyez on Me
The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan has joined the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me.
Deadline reports that Cohan will play the role of Leila Steinberg. In addition to her work as a singer, writer, businessperson, and more, Steinberg is often considered to be one of Tupac's greatest friends and mentor.
Tina Fey and Ronda Rousey Team Up for ‘Do Nothing Bitches’
Ronda Rousey and Tina Fey will co-star in an upcoming comedy.
Deadline reports that Do Nothing Bitches comes from Paula Pell, the screenwriter behind the film Sisters, which also co-starred Fey.
The idea behind the film, however, actually comes from Rousey. In an Embedded interview last summer, Rousey espoused her feelings about certain women, turning the movie's title into something of a pop culture trend. It's this phenomenon that leads to the concept behind the film. That is, according to Deadline, "a female-empowerment tale dealing with wealthy pampered wives who get a rude awakening at a camp where Rousey plays the no-nonsense instructor."

Rashida Jones on the Appeal of the “Really Dumb” Angie Tribeca
Rashida Jones returns to TV this Sunday for her first series since Parks and Recreation with Angie Tribeca. Utilizing the deadpan parody style of comedy popularized by Zucker Abrahams Zucker in films like Airplane! and The Naked Gun, the absurdist series stars Jones as the title character, a tough, no-nonsense cop.
The show is debuting in a very unique way, with TBS airing the 10-episode season several times in a row, during a 25-hour marathon, before weekly episodes begin a week later… with Season 2, which is already in production.
I spoke to Jones about what appealed to her about Angie Tribeca -- which is executive produced by her The Office co-star Steve Carell and his wife, Nancy Carell -- and what it’s like making a comedy in this style. Jones has also become a writer, producer and director in recent years, and we briefly spoke about her co-writing a small movie called Toy Story 4.
Christian Bale Exits Mann’s Ferrari Biopic Over Health Concerns
Christian Bale will no longer be playing the role of Enzo Ferrari in the film of the same name.
Deadline reports that Bale has stepped down due to concerns regarding the amount of weight he'd have to put on to play the Italian automaker.
Spring of this year was just not enough time for Bale to safely put on all that extra weight. Director Michael Mann is looking to now cast a fuller-figured actor to play Ferrari.
Bale's exit isn't slowing production, Deadline says—the project is still on track. Financed by Vendian Entertainment and YooZoo Bliss Film Fund, Enzo Ferrari will start filming in Italy in the summer. The film is written by Troy Kennedy-Martin (Edge of Darkness), and based on Brock Yates's book, "Enzo Ferrari, The Man, the Cars, the Races."
