Amy Hennig’s Star Wars Game ‘A Few Years’ Away
Amy Hennig and Visceral Games' untitled Star Wars game is still "a few years" away from releasing, according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.
Speaking to shareholders in EA's Q3 2016 earnings call, Jorgensen was asked how important it was to reduce "less profitable or non-profitable titles" in the company's portfolio. He went on to explain that the company was investing in some action-based games, which is when he revealed the release window news.
"We are down to less than 15 major SKUs," said Jorgensen. "And that feels like a good size of the business and we are obviously announcing that we are investing in some action-based SKUs by bringing people like Jade Raymond and Amy Hennig into our organization to help build those. And those are obviously a few years out in our SKU plan."

Pokemon has grown quite a bit since it started, but it’s important to remember its roots. We took the original 151 and picked the 10 that have stood the test of time — from cuteness to competitive abilities to their importance in the anime.
Charizard was always a fan favorite — for good reason. Aside from just being a flying, fire-breathing lizard, Charizard also comes with a strong moveset and stats that make it great for competitive battle even today. It was also really sassy in the anime, and its holographic Pokemon card remains a prized possession for tons of first-generation collectors.

— Jonathan Blow (@Jonathan_Blow) January 28, 2016
Blow noted that he is happy more people are getting to play The Witness, but is still worried Thekla Inc. won't be able to fund its next game if the piracy continues.

Kotaku's Jason Schreier ran into similar issues when attempting to connect to the PlayStation Store, being presented with a "Please wait..." screen for nearly ten minutes before finally giving up. He also noticed his Vita's battery appears to be draining faster than usual.
