Force Awakens: Here’s Where You Can Hear Clone Wars Cast Members
Several Star Wars voice acting veterans lent their talents to The Force Awakens, and now we know who's who.
The official Star Wars site has a blog entry from supervising sound director Matthew Wood, noting that many of the returning actors were listed as "Additional Voices" in the Force Awakens credits. Now he's matched the voices to their roles, including several alumni from The Clone Wars animated series.
Matt Lanter (Anakin) and James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan) both played Stormtroopers, and Lanter also played an alien scavenger, while his Clone Wars wife, Catherine Taber (Padme) voiced a Hangar Control Center Officer. Sam Witwer (Darth Maul) played several Stormtroopers and a PA announcer on the Star Destroyer. Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex, Commander Cody and all Clonetroopers) was the alien being held at gunpoint during the Jakku attack. David Acord (Rabbit Droid) voiced a wide range of roles, from the alien Teedo to First Order officers to those nasty death screams from the gangs that raided Han Solo's ship - not to mention the now-famous Stormtrooper yelling, "Traitor!".

Thor Will Be Ragnarok’s ‘Most Interesting Character’
The God of Thunder will be Thor: Ragnarok's "best character," according to director Taika Waititi.
In in interview with Crave Online, Waititi discussed his pitch to Marvel, in which he told the studio that Thor "just needs to be the most interesting character," adding: "If you're going to call the movie Thor, Thor has to be the best character."
Waititi also addressed the tone of the film, saying Marvel understood he "wasn’t just like a crazy comedy director or too dramatic" after watching his previous directorial work in Boy and What We Do in the Shadows. As such, fans can rest assured knowing Ragnarok won't be overly dramatic or ridiculously comedic.

So, while the figure itself is nicely made and detailed, the overall package is a bit lacking, especially considering the price. Thanos is particularly expensive for a Hot Toys figure, despite featuring less points of articulation and accessories than most others.

Guardians Co-Writer Addresses Labyrinth Backlash
The recent announcement of a new Labyrinth film stirred up quite a bit of controversy among fans, due to its proximity to the recent passing of David Bowie. But now Guardians of the Galaxy co-writer Nicole Perlman, who will write the script, is speaking out to address the backlash and clear up a few misconceptions.
According to Perlman, the film is a sequel, not a reboot. "Not 'rebooting' anything, guys," she posted on Twitter, adding in a subsequent post: "No one is remaking Labyrinth. That movie is perfect as it is." Perlman also made it clear this project was in the works long before Bowie's passing, saying she "would never seek to profit from Bowie's death."

Rocket League Season Two to Focus on Skill, Division Placement
Rocket League developer Psyonix recently detailed some of the biggest changes coming to the soccer-like game in a new patch releasing next month.
The patch will kick off the game's second season and focuses heavily on player rankings.
"The aim of Season 2 is to de-emphasize the importance of single wins or losses and put the focus where it belongs -- consistently playing well and improving your game over time (not stressing over individual losses)," reads a post on Rocket League's Steam Community page.
One of the first changes will be re-naming Ranked Play to Competitive Matchmaking and replacing Rank Points with divisions based on skill rating to reduce confusion.
New Job Listings Suggest Google Is Working on Its Own VR Hardware
Google may already have Google Cardboard offering a cheap way to get into VR, but if several new job listings are anything to go by, the company is preparing to make its own VR hardware.
The listings were initially spotted by Road to VR, and the jobs available include a Hardware Engineering Technical Lead Manager and a PCB Layout Engineer. At first, the two job titles had "virtual reality" in them, but Google has since replaced that with "consumer hardware."
