Mortal Kombat X: Leatherface, Xenomorph Added to Roster

Mortal Kombat X’s latest roster additions have been leaked ahead of an expected announcement at The Game Awards.
All Games Beta has footage of a video that was published on YouTube early and then removed, revealing four new characters coming to Mortal Kombat. Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films and Xenomorph from the Alien franchise are reportedly joining the Mortal Kombat X roster, as well as classic Mortal Kombat drunken fist character Bo Rai Cho, and Tri-Borg, a new cyborg combining Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke into one character.
Is This Iconic Batman Character Coming Back?
DC kicked off their "Robin War" crossover this week, and the issue hinted that we may see the return of a fan-favorite Batman character soon.

This issue laid out the general conflict of Robin War. Not unlike Marvel's Civil War storyline, one of the new Robins featured in the ongoing series We Are Robin accidentally causes the death of a GCPD officer and sparks a new wave of anti-vigilante outrage across the city. It's quickly revealed that the Court of Owls are manipulating tensions in the city as part of their effort to reclaim control of a Batman-less Gotham.
Future Apple Products Could Feature Displays Woven into the Fabric
A future version of the Apple Watch strap may include a display that's been woven into its fabric.
That's what a recently published Apple patent suggests anyway, which explains that these straps would be made using "light pipe fibers" and weaving them together with polymer, metal, glass fibers and other suitable materials.

The first issue of Totally Awesome Hulk is out, and it shed some light on Marvel's new Hulk and what happened to Bruce Banner in the eight months since Secret Wars.

This issue reveals that teen super-genius Amadeus Cho has taken up the mantle of Hulk after the disappearance of Bruce Banner. Unlike Banner, Cho controls his transformation with a device on his wrist rather than simply getting angry. Cho seems able to retain his intelligence while in Hulk mode, spending as much time flirting with innocent bystanders as he does smashing monsters.
Tarantino’s Next Project May Be Elmore Leonard TV Series
Quentin Tarantino's next project may be headed to television in the form of a miniseries adaptation of Elmore Leonard's Forty Lashes Less One.

QT's film Jackie Brown was also based on a Leonard novel. Tarantino's latest project, The Hateful Eight, opens this Christmas and will feature a special 70mm roadshow version that includes an extra six minutes of footage, as well as an overture and intermission.
Star Wars: Aftermath – Life Debt Cover Revealed
The cover of Chuck Wendig's upcoming novel Star Wars: Aftermath - Life Debut has been revealed.
Life Debt is the second installment in Wendig's trilogy, which picks up after the events of Return of the Jedi and leads right into Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Its cover features the iconic Millennium Falcon trailed by a group of TIE fighters. See it below, courtesy of StarWars.com.
Overwatch Closed Beta Going into ‘Extended Break’
Blizzard is taking the Overwatch closed beta "offline for an extended break," the company announced today.
The break begins on Thursday, December 10 at 9 am PST. "This phase of development has been key, but now it's time to analyze the data we have, dig into your feedback even further, and put that knowledge to use as best we can," Blizzard explained.
Blizzard will use this time not only to evaluate the "bug reports, suggestions, critiques, and experiences" shared by testers, but the company will also "work on in-development features like spectating and progression."
Fighting Game Luminaries Meet Up at PlayStation Experience
Sony's PlayStation Experience will play host to a fighting game panel on "what’s driving the next generation of fighting games."
Called "Fighting Games: The Next Generation," the panel begins December 5 at 7 p.m. PT. at San Francisco's Moscone Center.
The panel involved features Street Fighter V producer Yoshinori Ono, Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada, as well as former Capcom community manager and Sony employee Seth Killian.
Killian is also helping to develop the free-to-play fighting game Rising Thunder, which is currently only announced for PC. He and the rest of the group will be joined by PlayStation Blog senior social media manager Sid Shuman.
Halo 5 Gets Limited-Time Armor, Weapon Skins
There are now Halo Championship Series-themed armor and weapon skins in Halo 5: Guardians, but they're only available for a limited time.
Microsoft and 343 Industries are offering the premium REQ pack in Halo 5 until December 6. Players are guaranteed to receive weapon skins for the assault rifle and magnum, a helmet, armor and emblem.
The Halo Championship Series premium REQ pack costs $10 USD, or Halo 5 players can pick it up with 80,000 REQ points. Money from the pack will go toward the championship pool, which now sits at over $1.7 million.
Halo 5: Guardians launched in October and became the fastest-selling Xbox One exclusive ever. The sci-fi shooter also ranked as the top-selling game in North America for October.
Seth Macfarlane Hints at New Family Guy Movie
Is Family Guy getting a new movie? Creator Seth Macfarlane suggests that it may be coming soon.
